The devils in the details! The more detail and texture, the better.

I think that's what made the venom line so popular, their blending of designs have been great so far.

Yeah - I thought these Pops looked cool, but had no idea they'd be this popular!
I could definitely see the same for the MZ line.
Keep the MOTU line coming! :cherry:

Totally agree. I have a friend who just collects DC Pops, but he’s actually considering getting the Venomized line because of the amazing details.

The protos for them are amazing too, so much detail in the design.

You are correct, found the issue where they took him out and it's exactly as you described. But apparently (and I knew I remembered seeing this image somewhere before), there was a variant cover (a 2nd printing cover of #5 of the first series) of him holding his head and I think that is the idea for the pop and I conflated that with being in the story but it wasn't. *whew* Glad that's solved cuz it was bugging me, haha.

Thanks for looking into this. I did not know there was a variant issue. Must be a really good cover.

No problem. It’s actually a pretty good cover.

I like the idea behind them, but I'll have to see them in person before I decide if I want to go down this path.

So far there are two GITD zombie pops that I know of. Here’s hoping for some strong glows.

I thought it was great they decided to do this line. And it pushed me to finally take my TPB off the shelf and read the comic inspirations so I could decide if/which characters I'd want. Unfortunately this had the opposite effect since the Pops' damage/decay doesn't really reflect that of the comic characters. Oh well, I'm still glad they made these undead but they won't be making it to my collection.
