Funko California Raisins

I have thought about it before and when I looked it up there have been the California Raisins PVC and resin figures made. But I would like to see a set by Funko. That commercial played so much when I was younger. Would go great in Ad Icons (JMO) :freddy3:

I think these would be some awful looking pops, lol

but the ad icon line is our top line so I’d be compelled to buy. lol

I'm sure that the Funko design team could pull this off nicely... But then again, yeah they'd look weird in the end lmao

Yes! I recently collected some of the little figurines I had as a kid...and loved dearly for some reason. Though they would definitely look...interesting as Pops... :-k

We also need the old Oreo mascot...Kid Oreo? Something like that. I had a bendy toy figure of him around that same time as well...

Well there was an interview from last years Toy Fair where Brian was interviewed and asked that. I think said that they were on a list of ideas to make.

Found it, at 8:03 Brian gives an answer but it’s from 2019 hopefully we can see them soon

Usually it’s licensing issues. Funko has seemed to get a lot faster when it comes to grabbing licenses, prob due to the fact that they are so huge now. But I’m sure we’ll see it one day.

I am fully behind this idea! I remember as a kid I for some reason had these California Raisin plastic figures... I might have a couple laying around somewhere I'll try to dig them up. Would love to see them get the Pop! treatment for sure.

But they were naturally ugly. I liked watching the commercials, but dang, were they not good looking.

To be honest funko may already have them in the line up however we wouldn’t know if it was a thing yet. I’m sure they have a queue of icons at this point to drop based off approval

Oh wow now this is an idea! Sadly i do not remember the commercials or the song all that much, but I do remember the California Raisin toys from McDonalds. I believe i had quite a few of them. Lol honestly it would be an interesting mold, but hey if Funko can get the license for these and the different variants, it would be pretty great to see!
