Jack Kirby Funko Pop!

Hi everyone,

I want to know who here wants a Jack Kirby funko pop!. For those of you who don’t know who Jack Kirby is, he is a comic book artist and legend who co-created Iron Man, Captain America, the Fantastic Four, and created DC’s Fourth World (Darkseid, Mister Miracle, etc.). I believe he does not get enough recognition outside of the comic book community and that he deserves to be enshrined in the form of a pop!. Who knows, maybe if enough people support the idea we will get one to officially add to our collections!

Never a huge fan of his comic art, but I’ve always loved his cover illustrations for the late Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series. Couldn’t pick him out of a lineup if my life depended on it, mind.

Heck yeah. Stan Lee has a bazillion pops and Jack Kirby has none.

For those who don't know who he is, put down Aug 28th on your calendar. Visit your favorite artist's Instagram and see who draws a tribute to The Man.

Who did Kirby draw first? He created many of these characters as well.

Black Panther, Thor, Doctor Doom, Iron Man, Fantastic Four, Galactus, Hulk, Captain America, The Avengers, Silver Surfer, X-Men.

Stan Lee got all the credit and the fact that some of you don't know who Kirby is still shows that Stan gets too much of the credit for these Marvel creations.

I’ve seen this pop up before, and in general, we should have not just more of him, but more of all of the legendary artists. We wouldn’t have so much if our pop culture without them!!

Yup. Totally agree we need a Jack Kirby pop. They can make him like the Thing. There was a comic book with him as the Thing and some other writers playing as the rest of the fantastic 4. Jack Kirby as the Thing for the win.

I agree. It would complement people’s collection way more than a “history” pop. Imagine having a Rob Liefield pop next to a Deadpool collection? Eastman and Laird pops right next to TMNT? Sounds like a hit to me
