Legacy Wish List

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

Legacy Wish List

Postby Pumpkin King » Tue Nov 19, 2013 6:23 pm

With a super encouraging plan not only to produce 6 inch figures, but to meet or exceed the SW Black series in every way, these could be THE dominant six inch scale figures on the market! So what do you wanna see?
Keep in mind Hasbro owns Marvel, Star Wars, Transformers, Gi Joe. Mezco owns Breaking Bad and Mcfarlane owns Walking Dead.

Hellboy
Universal Monsters (although Diamond Select does these currently, but maybe Retro could work)
Escape from NY
Planet of the Apes

I am sure I will think of more...

Seems like funko has a lot sci fi licenses .
I can see them doing "Dr.Who"

I don't really collect any action figures anymore since I lost all mine years ago.
Thousands of dollars wasted :/

Probably Game of Thrones

I would love Blizzard figures

Ok Reaction are the 3.75 scale retro figures. Geared to look like figs from the 70s-80s

Legacy is everything else, 6 inch scale tho. Could be some retros too, but will be modern looking. Think Marvel Legends look.

Interesting. Know what would go well? Once Upon a Time. Huge fan base, unlimited characters. Although owned by Disney, it does not fall under the Hasbro agreement license.

Would love to see Halo done in a retro style. McFarlane has the action figure license mostly locked up but there could be room for others (Square Enix & 3A also have figure licenses)

I'm guessing that the following will happen.
Dr. Who
Sons of Anarchy
Hanna Barbara
Duck Dynasty
Game of Thrones
-Ross

I would love some Tarantino films since they are doing Pulp Fiction. Kill Bill, Inglorious Basterds, Reservoir Dogs.
Also would like some George A. Romero zombies. Black and White Night of the Living Dead, Day of the Dead, etc.

Dr. Who may be one of the "major" ones Brian was hinting about earlier. I didn't think about that. I'm really hoping they can get the rights for Nintendo characters. Although I'm not really holding my breath that it'll happen.

I wish they could get the license for Hobbit/LotR figures. The company that holds the Hobbit license right now is screwing it up BADLY. I know Funko would put out a much better, fan-pleasing product. :)
