ReAction Wish Lists

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

The main characters are colorful, the movie's a cult classic, Weird Al is perrenially popular, and there's never really been any merchandise from it. Just think of all the characters you could do:

Weird Al
Weird Al as Indiana Jones
Weird Al as Rambo
Weird Al as Uncle Nutzy
Stanley Spadowski
Philo (with alternate Alien head)
Bobbo the Clown
Raul
Conan (the Librarian)
Gandhi (with machine gun)
Fran Drescher
Kuni the karate guy
Billy Barty (with camera)
Raul (with pet turtles)
and KEVIN FREAKIN' MCCARTNEY

Now I really, really want to drink from the fire hose.

I think it would be cool to get another Escape From New York wave. I'd like it to be the following:
Snake Plissken, Wrestler
Big Mustached Wrestler
The Duke
The Brain
Maggie
Cabbie
The President
The Duke's Crazy Henchman
Haul
SWAT Soldier
If I can't scuba, then what's this all about? What am I working towards?

Some of these ideas:

Lost in Space
MASH
A-Team
Knight Rider
Get Smart
Batman 66

Might be collected into a Classic TV series... It could be a rotating series that could be updated at will.

Back from a bit of a hiaitus. I'd been really excited at the announcement of ReAction, but early images made me think I didn't need them. Then I saw Goonies instore...

I've been reflecting some and thought I'd add (and lend support to those who have suggested before):

Cult cinema:
Fight Club (Tyler and the Narrator, though Bob and his b!tch t!ts would be cool too, and maybe a smashed-face Angel Face)
Inglourious Basterds (I'd take whatever was on offer... there would have to be a Landa.)
Shaun of the Dead (Sean, Ed... and maybe a couple of the more recogniseable zombies. Good opportunities for more bloody variants.)

80s favourites:
E.T. (Would love to see the kids and E.T. in their halloween costumes)
A Christmas Story
Lost Boys

Pie in the sky, dreamy-eyed, wishing on a star:
Dog Soldiers (I do countt myself lucky that the werewolf was ever made into a figure, but it'd be cool to get some of the squaddies too.)
The Abyss (I've wnted figures of these forever, and hey, it's Cameron!)
Earth 2 (As above, except that I think I'm the only person ever to have wanted figures from this one-season 90s "classic".)

I could totally get behind some 1990 ninja turtles movie figs... but good luck dealing with Playmates. Didn't they shut down NECA's attempts to bring us very cool, Mirage-inspired wave 2?

Just watched Bill & Teds Excellent Adventure. The whole time I watched it I couldn't help but think how they would make great ReAction figures. Although I'd like to see the liknesses sharpened up more.

Some other ones I think would look good as ReAction:

Scooby Doo - Main team and a lot of villains
Star Gate
Labyrinth
Mighty Python
Young Frankenstein
5th Element
Captain Planet
Beetlejuice
Inspector Gadget
Roger Rabbit

I would love to see these 70's/80's sci-fi movies/tv shows as Reaction figures:

Krull
Battle Beyond the Stars
Flash Gordon (1980)
Dune (1984)
The Black Hole
Battlestar Galactica (original)
Buck Rogers in the 25th Century
V (1983/1984)

Mars Attacks.

I just so want a 3-3/4" Martian. He's been a POP, a Blox and a Sci Fi Mystery Mini. Now he needs to be a ReAction figure!

Yeah the Mezco line that fell through was really disappointing. I could se myself buying multiples of the generic martian warrior.

Another line I though might be pretty cool would be a "real people" line so like scientists, authors, presidents, people like that. I could see a couple good candidates for such a collection.

Albert Einstein
Thomas Edison
Nikolai Tesla (This one might be a stretch but the car brand might help with name recognition even though this guy did amazing work)
Neil DeGrasse Tyson
Carl Sagan
Bill Nye the Science Guy

Edgar Allen Poe
Mark Twain
HP Lovecraft (we almost got this figure through the Warpo Legends of Cthulhu Kickstarter and there seemed to be a lot of interest to get him.)

Some of these guys got giant heads carved into a mountain people go see everyday there has to be some kind of market for them as figures, right?
George Washington
Thomas Jefferson
Abraham Lincoln
Theodore Roosevelt
Franklin Roosevelt
JFK

I think these properties would also look good in ReAction styling

Robin Hood - Both the Animated and 90s movie versions
Alice in Wonderland - Disney Animation
Sailor Moon

I saw KISS on the list and there is some good news there as Biff Bang Pow has a retro line in the works for them.
Six Million Dollar man has also been done by ZICA and there are some figures already available for them, wave 2 unfortunately didn't get enough pre-orders to move to production.

Rufio

OK, this might be a bit much, but this line of toys has finally opened up possibilities that I never thought would be possible, so I am seizing this opportunity to let my dreams be heard. No matter what I write below, I must stress that JAWS figures need to happen. I cannot believe they never have and this is the best chance I think they will ever get. Here is my wish list:

Jaws
[*]Chief Martin Brody w/rifle and chum bucket
[*]Quint w/attachable fishing pole
[*]Hooper w/Chrissie Watkins' hand

I'm digging those ideas of yours Gillman, but for the Stephen King series I'd like to add Reverend Lowe and his werewolf form from SILVER BULLET, and for the JAWS line I think it should be said that the shark also needs a figure, just because it deserves to be said.

As for some more thoughts of my own, since this is the wishlist thread I'd like to reitterate that for the second series of Buffy figures I'd like to see them do a figure of Oz as a werewolf as he was seen in the episode PHASES.

Also, just in case I haven't said it yet, I'd like to see a series of figures based on AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON that features:

David Kessler
Jack Goodman (As well as all of his various dead forms)
Nurse Alex Price
the werewolf

I wanted to make a wish list for figures not made yet, they are the following:

Dr. Samuel Loomis to go with Michael Myers (A MUST!)

Bruce Lee VS Chuck Norris

The Warriors (Gang Members Movie)

The Cartoon Dungeons & Dragons with Venger and Dungeon Master

Blade Runner with Harrison Ford's Character

The Original Movie Spartacus Figure

Brave Heart Mel Gibson's figure

Evil Dead

Speed Racer, Racer X

Planet Of The Apes, Beneath The Planet Of The Apes

I'd also like to see Generals of WWII made with The Desert Fox and Old Blood & Guts (Patton and Rommel)
Maybe a series made with some great war leaders Hannibal Scipio Africanus, Napoleon, George Washington Grant Lee etc...

I thought I'd expand on some thoughts I had earlier.

For Funko's second wave of horror ReAction figures, I think they should make a pair of figures based on The Creeper from the JEEPERS CREEPERS films.

One figure should be fully clothed and come with a removeable hat, an axe, knives, throwing stars, and detachable wings.

The second figure should depict The Creeper without clothes, should also have wings, and should have the antenna on his head spread out wide.

That's all for now.

I just thought up a BTTF2 set of 4 they could do:

- Marty with leather jacket, hat, and pink hoverboard
- Marty's son with accordian jacket and reflective hat
- Doc Brown with his yellow trenchcoat and radio
- Griff with his futuristic outfit and sports almanac prop

This way they could reuse some stuff from the BTTF line, two of those could reuse Marty's head.
