Legacy articulation

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

Legacy articulation

Postby Poe Ghostal » Tue Dec 24, 2013 1:54 pm

Given that Funko is no doubt developing the articulation for their Legacy lines now, I thought I might point out the "Super-Articulation Manifesto" I wrote up recently. It's a guide to what collectors expect from highly-articulated lines these days, and includes some common pitfalls that companies seem to fall into.

The Super-Articulation Manifesto

I'm not trying to preemptively grumble here. I'm excited about Legacy, and I hope Funko has already made some great decisions regarding the articulation.

Funko is a force to be reckon with. I'm very happy that they are continuing expanding their lines.

I hate the ball jointed hips on the Black Series and the way the crotches look on non-armoured characters. So I'm glad the majority of Game of Thrones characters wear jerkins, or tunics, or robes, or dresses that will cover this awkward looking area.
My question would be whether this style of clothing will be sculpted or soft goods. I assume the latter, as sculpted skirts limit articulation.
