I figure that might as well be series 2. With so many heavy hitters in series 1, they might as well keep the train going into series 2.

I saw you guys talking playsets earlier. I would LOVE to get a 3" scale Library or Magic Shop playset. That would be amazing!

I hope they just keep focusing on the figures for now. But maybe in a year or 2, if the figures sell well, it would be awesome to see playsets.

That, and Giles car from the first couple seasons.

Heres a question? Are all of you Buffy fans here hoping Angel gets his own series and special carding? Or are you just content with Buffy figures?

I for one would love an all Angel series. Not just to get characters from that show, but so there would be a different card back for the Angel series compared to the Buffy series.

funny when i collect buffy, i have to collect angel. i relate one to the other, so yes i would love an angel's line. same thing with hercules and xena... same universe... must collect together!

It sounds like at NYTF there is already a ReAction Playset that is ready to be revealed. While im sure it could be for any of the ReAction lines like Alien, Star Trek, or Universal Monsters, how awesome would it be if it was the Library or the Magic Box!!!

Even if it was just a cemetery to display the Buffy figures in would be cool. Whatever it is, I hope its Buffy related.

The card design looks like series 2, 3, & 4 of the Buffy figures from MAC so they will match and blend in nicely with the way I have my action figures displayed on the wall.

Way to go Funko! These little guys are awesome! I want more characters in this line!!

They did a great job on these for what they are. I hate to say it, but I'm not excited for these anymore..... The Goonies on the other hand look amazing.

I think they look super fun! I also quite like that Buffy is in a skirt, as it means Funko will probably also put Cordelia in a skirt (as it should be!).

Angel is a disappointment. He should have had a sculpted long coat like Spike has. I hope future waves gets the rest of the cast, but I especially want more monsters.

Agreed that Angel is the weak figure in the bunch.

And yeah - rest of the cast is the priority for me. If the line ends early (god forbid), one can always put Buffy & the Scooby Gang up against the Universal Monsters, etc. But if there is no Scooby Gang and just a bunch of monsters, it'll be irritating. The show is about the human cast more than it is about the monsters.

So bring on: Cordelia, Giles, Faith, Xander & Anya soon please! Drusilla, Darla, The Judge & Mr. Trick, too!

I'll be getting these for sure, but I hope that we get a Legacy line out of Buffy too. I enjoy the look of those more so far. The Gentleman is my favorite out of the group.

I think I would go for the legacy line from what I've seen so far. Those could be great!

I wish Buffy's skirt was "cut" in the middle like Sally from Nightmare and even like the Gentleman's coat. Buffy needs to be able to kick azz, not just sit down!

Angel definitely needs his coat. And I wish Willow had a more distinctive or quirky outfit. That "Willow" looks more like Joyce to me than she does Willow!

Completely agree that Angel is the weak link. I just think it's particularly generic looking.

I really like all of them, for the most part. But agree about Angel, he just doesn't have enough to really give you cues that he is Angel versus some random guy.

She does have the cut. You can see it, it's just partially obscured by EE's watermark.

I'm not sure which big bad I want more...The Master is my absolute favorite but Adam would look awesome!

Very much looking forward to these. Just pre-ordered my set.

And hoping we get...some sort of indication there are plans for a Series 2. Even if not set in stone...just a nod to let us know that the intentions are to fill out the ranks of The Scooby Gang.

According to EE, the release date has been changed to August instead of July.

According to EE, it looks like these figures have yet again been delayed to September. They went from July...to August...and now September...hopefully it won't happen again. We might get these figures by 2015.

Just saw a few of the Buffy line at my local Barnes & Noble. I didn't dig through the display to see who all they had because I finally found The Creature from the Black Lagoon and open-mouthed Predator which were both instant buys! From what I did see they had the Seth Green/werewolf character and two are three other Buffy cards behind that one. Pulp Fiction was also there. The paint apps on Travolta's character brought back memories of Gorbachev! I'll probably get those as well in a future run.

For the second series of Buffy figures, I'd like to see Funko do a figure of Oz in werewolf form, preferablly the form he took in the episode PHASES.
