Rocketeer Legacy..

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

Really hope they get more than just the Rocketeer though.

YES! That's awesome. Will definitely buy. I wonder if this will be part of a general collection. Rocketeer, Snake, The Crow, something along those lines. So pumped though and can't wait to get it.

I believe Funko is more than happy to just have one figure represent a property in a line if that's all that they think will sell/is needed. So I don't foresee this being a part of a "Movie Legacy" line or anything. I guess we'll find out.

To be honest, Rocketeer is all I need in this line. BUT, if they made another figure in the line, I think it'd be awesome to make a Legacy version of the Nazi Rocketeers from the propaganda cartoon in the movie. Then you could have your figure squaring off against an enemy that wouldn't just be Timothy Dalton in period clothes with a gun. :)

I need pictures! One of my coworkers is a Rocketeer die-hard. He and Brian got to geek out about it for a while (Brian answered Steve's question correctly with "chewing gum" lol ) While I'm excited myself I'm even more excited for my co-worker who has been dreaming of a good Rocketeer figure since day 1.

I'm very excited about this line! If they only have rights to the movie, then I'm mostly interested in just The Rocketeer. However, if the likenesses are as good as some of the stuff from ToyFair, I might be interested in a Jennifer Connelly and Timothy Dalton, too!

Speaking of Timothy, some James Bond figures could be pretty cool.

one issue though, at toyfair they did tell us that Disney won't let them have a gun with the rocketeer, at least not with the reaction line, wonder if it will carry over to the legacy figure.

Hmmm. Well, the gun he uses is a standard issue one. According to the Internet Movie Firearms Database (did you know that existed? I didn't!) it was a Mauser C96 that he carried. I mean, that was the only time he carried a gun, right, when he grabbed it off the German?

In any case, I wonder if any other 6'' figures have ever had that sort of gun. 12'' would probably be easier to find with all the war figures they've put out in that scale. 6'' might be trickier.

No we haven't. Im pestering the heck out of funko facebook people about legacy news. So far all they've done since toyfair is release better images of GoT Legacy wave 2. Which is cool. Im glad they're coming. But some firefly pics would make my entire month better.

If a 6 inch Rocketeer is released I will be all over that.
