SDCC exclusives

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

SDCC exclusives

Postby emgamera » Wed May 07, 2014 4:51 pm

I just saw the "hints" list of SDCC exclusives. Wow, there's a lot of cool, cool stuff!

I know some SDCC exclusives have been no problem to get (either at the show or later online), but others have been next to impossible.

Any ideas or indications of how these (particularly the ReAction exclusives) might be? I'd love to know that there will be a fairly easy and straightforward way for non-attendees to order them after the show.

To answer your questions real fast though, we have no idea how hard it will be to get reaction because this is their first year out so there is nothing to go off of. Gemini collectibles is your best bet to buy sdcc exclusives as they will have them all and have free shipping sdcc weekend.

Thank you for the re-direct (I completely missed that thread), and thank you for the heads-up on Gemini. That takes a lot of worry out of the SDCC exclusive frenzy!

8 ReAction exclusives and 2 Legacy exclusives. Ugh. #13 on the hint list with HAT is likely Jayne Cobb. Man, if all the good stuff is going to be overpriced, hard to get exclusives, I'm going to lose a lot of interest in these lines.

Last year Gemini had everything priced fairly and offered free shipping that weekend only. Whether they'll do that this year or not is not certain. Other sites may carry these also so try not to worry too much.
If the regular reaction retails for 9.99, these may be 15.99. I don't see these being sold for $25 each. (legacy, possibly)

As Wil said, we're not sure how fast these will sell out (if they sell out). I'm not very familiar with this market but I think most will not have a problem getting these. If you can, I recommend getting them when they come out though as it's a shot in the dark as to how well this will sell.

Be patient, they arrive quite some time after SDCC. Those are huge shipments and not easy to process.

Super7 just hinted that they're going to have ReAction figures at SDCC. I wonder if they'll be different than Funko's???

It was teased a while back that there is supposed to be a Playset @ SDCC:

Reaction are being distributed by Funko. It is a full partnership. I think Brian said their booths will be side by side this year at SD

In fact last year they had a little section about reaction figure that was right there next to us because Brian told us about the deal he was working on at the time. We walk right up to as he was telling us about it.
