Your ReAction Questions Answered Here!

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

Don't suppose you could elaborate there? Never, ever is pretty definitive :/

I sort of assumed though, if it were possible it would've happened for the 30th Anniversary. Shame.

Mattel owns the rights to Ghostbusters action figures of any size, and they're never going to give up those rights.

Maybe there's licensing problems
There's like no toys whatsoever for Addams Family
I've only been able to find one line of action figures for the 1992 animated show

Why do the Universal Monsters and Modern Horror figures not have peg holes in their feet? It is pretty disappointing. GREAT figures though!

We switched factories for those figures and they missed that detail. All figures will have holes going forward, though.

Are we going to get a Brett, Parker and Lambert? I love the second series of Alien figures, (especially that metallic alien) but a lot of people want more crew.

Love the look of these, hoping to purcahse some this coming week!
Glad to hear they are selling well, I need to jump on the bandwagon!

What are chances of Chucky and Bride Reaction, was very upset when they wasn't shown. Will Mezco not give up the rights?

I would love to maybe see some British shows done.

There is no way to get Doctor Who, but what about:

Red Dwarf
Monty Python
Blakes 7
Space 1999
Thunderbirds
Blackadder
James Bond
Danger Mouse / Count Duckula

Got the Horror series in at work and LOVE them! We also got the chase Creature from the Black Lagoon! I was wondering if you could tell us what figures have chase pieces so far and what the ratio is on those. Thanks! I can't wait to bring them home!

I'm not sure if we have the rights for Chucky in action figure form. But we're already thinking about a horror series 2 and he's on the wishlist for that. Bride is a little more up in the air, but we can look into it.

We've kicked around the idea for James Bond, and I have personally tried to pitch Monty Python and the Holy grail figures, but nothing is in the works yet. The other ones may be a harder sell. Oh! But I'd LOVE Danger Mouse and Duckula figures! Probably won't happen, though.

Those all sound awesome, and I'd love Abbot and Costello figures to go with my Universal Monsters figures, but I just think all of these are too old and probably wouldn't sell enough to justify production, sadly.

The only chase figures so far are the glow Mummy and Creature, and the Spike figure from the Buffy line will have a normal face chase figure (regular release has an angry vampire face). The chrome T800 from Terminator was supposed to be a chase piece, but the factory produced an equal amount, so there's that. I'm not exactly sure on how the ratios break down. That's out of my wheelhouse.

Is the Rocky Horror Picture Show being made into Reaction figures? Thought I heard that somewhere but wasn't entirely sure.
If so, who all do you have planned?

Gotta thank you Reis, You're offering the fans a forum to get real questions answered, and quickly! it's rare and appreciated!

That said, I have three!

Can you address The X-Files? You have the license...I've heard Legacy, then no Legacy...but nothing on ReAction...

Any idea if Spaceballs would fly? I can't imagine that it never came up...but something tells me Lucas would kibosh that one.

Finally, any other licenses that you can think of that you possesses already but are off limits for ReAction, that we might ASSUME would be coming, such as Ghostbusters? Just want to try and manage expectations.

My pleasure!

We do have the X-Files license for ReAction, but nothing rolling yet.

Part of the deal made back in the day between Lucas and Mel Brooks was that Brooks had to agree to never allow toys made for Spaceballs. So that will never, ever, ever happen.

Mattel owns the action figure rights to Ghostbusters, and they're never going to give that up.

I got ya. Other than the obvious biggies, there's no real major blocks. Maybe Blade Runner, since no one can seem to figure out who owns the rights, therefore no product can be made. And there's been a couple of licensors who just don't get it, so they said no, even though their license would be perfect for ReAction. I can't throw them under the bus by naming them, but trust me, they're out there.

This is a long way off, May of next year in fact, but any chance you guys would come to the Denver Comic Con and maybe do a couple exclusives for us? I know we are a new Con and a little small (85,000 last year) but I think we would be a great spot to launch a new series or just a couple POP!'s or ReAction pieces.

Reis, one that's on a lot of wish lists and at the top of mine is classic Planet of the Apes. I know NECA has their 7" figures out there right now, and they're awesome. But, I want 3-3/4" Apes. What are the chances?

Count me as one of the ones that are very, very, very interested in The Dark Crystal. This line if the difficulty is getting the owner of the original prototypes to sign off, I'd prefer Funko to go back and design these from scratch. The originals have their charm, but I'd prefer a whole new screen accurate take! The 12" Sideshow dolls that I missed out on were awesome and so was NECA's Chamberlain! What has always been painfully absent from my collection is 3 3/4 Gelflings, Skeksis and Mystics. I want a figure of Augra and some Garthim. I gotta have Urskecs,Pod People, LandStriders and Crystal bats! I really, really love that awesome world that was introduced in that great fantasy movie!

Is there a chance we'll still see Dutch's team from Predator at some point? I can't be the only kid who's wanted them since 1987. If not, any insight into why? The Spaceballs answer was interesting.

Also put me down as another really wanting Dark Crystal toys; but would love Labrynth even more-so.

That's not really my territory. I don't see us having a booth there (we only do San Diego), but exclusives are not out of the question. Somebody from the con would have to contact one our members of the sales team. Sorry that wasn't much help.
