I'm not sure, but EE has them listed as September, which is probably pretty accurate, because the movie comes out around the middle of October.

Now that I've seen the movie, I have to say that I'm REALLY glad I ordered Xibalba, and I wish they'd made a Legacy figure of La Muerte, too.

Yup, feeling the same right now. I took my daughter to see it yesterday and I have to say that it is now my favorite animated movie of all time. Simply amazing.

I got my Xibalba recently, too, but I'm having to have EE replace it for me. One of the wings broke when I was trying to attach it to the body. :/ I don't like how hard those wings are to attach, but that's my only complaint with the figure. It is absolutely gorgeous! I'm still glad I bought it.

I love these overall. I do agree that Xibalba's wings could have been better designer. I feel like a lot of wings are going that way, and they are almost always a pain in the butt to put in. Add to the fact that the peg seems to be hard plastic, and you've got a recipe for disaster. My pegs broke, too.

That being said, the packaging is gorgeous, as are the figures. I have a feeling these will be a one and done line, which is a shame as I'd love to see La Muerte at least, in the line.

I'm glad to hear the wing problem isn't just me (or me being to rough on them). I ended up gluing one of mine on; I hated to do it, but it bugged me less than not having the wings attached would have. :P

I think you're right, but I would have liked to see La Muerte, too. It's a bummer that Xibalba has to be without her.

I know I am necromancing this thread, but I just watched The Book of Life, and immediately set out ordering every Funko related product! I already had Xibalba and La Muerte pops just based on how they looked, but now I need them ALL. Glad to read ahead about the Xibalba wings. Now I know to take care. I had that same issue with my Hellboy Angel of Death Figure.

Hello! I recently got the Xibalba figure. Did anyone else notice that his wings smelled... weird? Of course, I've also found a great way to get his wings in. The pegs are a little bit too long, so if you trim just the tiniest little bit off the pegs, they fit like a dream!

WING-SNIFFER! I found that with some of my Mezco Hellboy stuff as well, some chemical type of smell right?

Yea! And it wasn't a sniffer thing, it was just that when we opened the box, like... You could smell the nasty chemical smell in the air. It was enough to get my partner, who lost most of their sense of smell when they were eleven due to being stuck by lightning, to stop and ask me if I smelled something awful.

Just bought Xibalba last night; beautiful figure but yes....still haven't managed to get the wings on. Although mercifully they don't smell. Planning to take a hairdryer to them tonight to see if that'll ease them in then if not, I'll take the above advice and trim the pegs a little.

Also like a few people have asked, why no La Muerte?! She would be gorgeous!!

I think, with La Muerte, since the figures are scaled to look like the movie, would be INSANE logistically. That hat and her hair are WAAAAAAY too big. She would be beautiful though.

True, she would be a bit of a nightmare. Finally got Xibalba's wings attached now though so I'll settle with that

I would def recommend it; one of the best movies I've seen in years. Beautiful animation, great voice acting, amazing soundtrack and a lovely sentiment. See it if you get the chance
