ReAction Hitting the Big Stores!

Let's talk about Funko and Super 7's great line of ReAction and Legacy action figures. They don't bobble or pop, but they thrill in their own fun way.

ReAction Hitting the Big Stores!

Postby Jeff Cope » Fri Aug 22, 2014 2:50 pm

I just picked up a Terminator figure at a Toys R Us here in Portland.

I've heard reports of figures showing up at Walmart as well.

Hopefully Target will carry them as well.

I saw a neat Reaction display at Wal-Mart. It only had the Alien creature. I also saw some of the other Alien line (no Creature) at Books A Million.
One day I will go back in time just by owning a DeLorean.

I've been toy hunting today and went to 3 Targets, 2 Wal-Mart's, and a Toys-R-Us and they didn't have ReAction figures, hopefully they show up soon. My LCS had Firefly, Snake Plissken, and Back to the Future but with a 7 dollar mark up. My other comic store had them for 10 bucks, but crap paint, so I skipped them. I'm afraid of ordering online because of the bad paint.
If I can't scuba, then what's this all about? What am I working towards?

I saw an Alien and the Rocketeer tonight at Walmart. There were literally just 2 figures. I looked all over and couldn't find any others so maybe I just missed them.

The display I saw was only Aliens so I think that Wal-Mart didn't get the whole waves.

I just picked up an Alien and it was the same thing, Rocketeer and Alien. I wanted to take the display box.

I ended up seeing another display at a different Wal-Mart. They had all of the Alien wave and the Rocketeer. For $9.78 each, I couldn't resist.

My comic shop had the Goonies figures this weekend. Data, Mouth, and Chunk were $12, and for whatever reason they had Mikey for $25. They had the SDCC Sloth for $25 as well. I know it's not a "big" store, but I didn't think the Goonies stuff was hitting for a month or two yet so I was shocked to see them. I want all of them but thought I would check online to see if I could find them cheaper first.

Checked into my local comic shop. They had the Firefly ones for around $13, and some of the Twilight Zone ones for $15.

There was also a small novelty shop down the road that had the Alien figures for $19 apiece.

I'm still on the lookout for some Back to the Future ones. I want to see how they look in person before purchasing.

Apparently there are reports of the Creature showing up at TRU, I'm not sure what other UMs have been spotted. Hastings has been carrying everything else released so far and has even had a few SDCC exclusives too.

Thank you for telling me where to find those figures. I wanted the Nightmare Before Christmas ones and some of the Rocky Horror ones (I want Columbia the most).

My Walmart (which just got a ton of Funko stuff in) has a display of the Alien ones. Pretty cool, even though I don't collect ReAction.

Sorry for bumping, but I saw some Firefly ReAction figures today at Target. I never watched the show, so I found one of the figures that had dinosaurs as his accessory funny. They're pretty tiny for $9.99 figures...

TRU has got Back to the Future, Terminator, Firefly and Escape from New York here in Denver. Still have not seen any at Wal-Mart but Target seem to be getting some but it depends on the store I guess. The one close to me has Goonies while another store up the road has Terminator. The tags on the hooks say ReAction assortment.
Okay, if you want to add glitter to that glue you're sniffing, that's fine, but don't dump your whackadoo all over us. We'd rather not step in it.
