Immediately preordered, I loved this show and the pics look great. That said, I'm a bit disappointed that they aren't individually carded. Only because I feel these would've looked amazing with some retro 80s card art. I'd have definitely doubled up to keep 1 set unopened to display if so. As it is, I'm debating ordering another set of each anyways for the simple reason that it's hard to find child/pre-teen figures in this scale. What's holding me back is Demogorgon's size relation to the kids. I'm assuming that the Demogorgon is waaaaay undersized and that the kids are scaled to their proper 'kid' height. Bit of a bummer because I'd much rather have a full size Demogorgon released individually. But whatever, as long as the kids aren't scaled up to adult size I'm fine. My 1st thought seeing these was, "Yes! Stranger Things figures!" Then I got really excited when it hit me that these could be useful bases for Monster Squad customs! Can't wait!!!

Also, has it been mentioned anywhere if these will have the more articulated shoulders we've seen in the recent Twin Peaks and Batman 66 figures? I really hope so. It appears to me that there's a hinged joint on the Demogorgon's shoulder but I can't tell on the kids.

I gotta say I was ready to write Funko off completely after finding out a lot of the new releases I was waiting for last yr were cancelled. Not to mention the lines I had already been buying were ended. Tbh, I'm still bitter about NBX . However, between Dark Crystal, ET, Twin Peaks, Batman and now Stranger Things, Funko is killing it for me. These are still not my favorite types of toys. I prefer more modern, highly articulated figures but Funko has been doing a great job with these newer releases. I really hope this trend continues because there are a lot of properties I'd like to see get made.

Me too. Maybe they didn't allocate per day. On Saturday I watched from the Funko line, but when I went back for it Sunday it sold out first thing. Boo. Maybe I will find on resale?

Really wanted to like these (and I do love the sculpts)...but the paint apps on the faces are really spotty. Like REALLY spotty. Saw both sets at two different TRUs (and 3 versions of each set)...and every single one had at least one character with abysmally painted eyes. Eleven was generally okay, as was the Demagorgon...but the 4 boys were generally googly eyed, with Dustin straight up looking like Sloth from The Goonies in every single package. Major bummer.

It's funny that you mention Sloth from The Goonies, as I feel my Dustin figure looks like Mama Fratelli. I also wanted to love these figures, but the paint is terrible. Also, the joints are so loose on mine that they won't stand. The Demogorgon especially has very loose wrists and ankles. I still like these, and they make a nice display once I get them to stand up a while, but I just can't like them as much as I had hoped to.

The paint apps are looking more solid on the Convention exclusive 3-pack, from what I've seen on Ebay. Which, btw, Amazon has listed for a very reasonable $20-something (free shipping with Prime).

Sooooo...yeah - I'm in LOL. I may have to try and repaint the eyes, but the show is just too reminiscent of things that made my brother & I very happy in our youth for me to skip them.

Ive opted to buy the singles. I’ve found 2 Demogorgon chases and a Will chase. Just want that Eleven with the wig without having to buy the NYCC pack and I’ve found every chase BUT the one I want. Ug

This past weekend i picked up all 3 chases. I have all 3 packs but took the figures out of the box. Wasnt really interested in getting duplicates but once i found 2 chases in one target store(will and demo) i figured 'why not'? Found eleven chase the next day at another target. These were easy to get. Way too easy.

I finally decided to pick the three packs up. Got the NYCC pack as well from Gemini. Glad I did because they are awesome! My first reaction figures and I really love them. I'll definitely be getting into more of these.
