Just got an email saying that they will have an extremely limited stock of gold glitters at BBTS and it's very likely my preorder will be cancelled, I did it on the first day they became available so I'm still going to hold out hope but those who preordered from there may want to explore other options once they start popping up.

I put in a pre order for gold Batman Hikari from BBTS on April 16th and they just emailed saying that can't fulfill their orders and will be canceling my order.

I am........NOT happy about that!!

That sucks they cancelled. Keep an eye open they will probably get them in and sell them at a much higher price. Happened to me from Toy Tokyo years back. Some of these retailers will presell stuff then realize the price is through the roof and cancel all the presales. Low and behold when they come out and are selling for 3 times the price they amazingly have them in stock for 3 times the price.

I got the same email from BBTS yesterday saying that my order has been canceled for the Gold Batman. I placed the order on Feb 21. That's the one I wanted the most. I had also pre-ordered the metallic version and I plan to call them next week to cancel the rest of my order. I don't think I will be ordering from them in the future after this.

I am really annoyed with this situation, I know it's not necessarily their fault but they should be somewhat culpable. I'm not sure how or where I'll be able to get one of these, and how much it will cost me. I know this might seem like a bold, or an over-statement, but I don't know if I'm going to even get into collecting the Hikari line considering the 2 I like the most (gold and NVS Batman) are now sold out.

These items aren't technically sold out. The pre-order you want may be sold out at your preferred retailer but remember, there are hundreds of them that will hit the street in just a couple of months.

I understand that it's just the pre-order which is sold out, and not just at my "preferred retailer" but every retailer that was offering a pre-order. Despite a few people that don't seem to be a fan of this line, I think it's going to do very well and although I greatly enjoy the hunt of collecting, I fear that attempting to add these to my collection might increase the heartache of failing to obtain one, instead of the joy of receiving something limited that I pre-ordered almost immediately after it became available.

Called my local comic store and asked about this. They said they could totally order it for me. I said, "Please do!" and the guy wrote me back and said, "Done!" Hope you all have as good of luck.

That's strange. I called two stores. They both could see it and the first said it said "Not yet Shipped" as if they had already ordered one and the other said it was there and then ordered it for me. Hope you can find one!

Did anyone else notice that the preorder prices for the turtles has gone up on certain sites? I saw the Donatello metallic for $50 but then the Leonardo metallic preorder jumped up to $100. They were both 500 run editions. I really hope retailers don't start jacking up the prices on these.
