Don't know.


The original Japanese Sofubi that the Hikari line is based on mostly all come in bags with the headers like you see in the pic there. In Japan, they bag them up in clear plastic bags and staple headers on top or sometimes sell them with no headers depending on the studio and artist. Do a google and/or Youtube search for Sofubi or, more specifically, Shikaruna or Siccaluna so you can check out the work that goes into these things (it's pretty cool).

It is actually common on a lot of these very expensive Japanese designer vinyl toys, they tend to come in plastic bags like these so I think that's where it comes from. Or may be they are just flipping the bird to all these box collectors :roflmao:
