I have been waiting for this ever since they announced it back in June. I think it was supposed to be released in July, but he is finally here so all is good.

I love that display shelf, case! Did you build that yourself or is it a kit?

Mine is apparently stuck in Lasership hell... Apparently Barnes and Noble uses a firm called Lasership to ship products on the east coast. They suck. Needless to say, I have called and they are now sending a replacement... hopefully via a normal carrier.

I just found one of these in my B&N for just $40, is that the normal price? Thought about picking it up because of its limited edition. Btw amazing collection there man that's gotta be expensive ha. I would totally collect hakiri if they weren't so expensive, the Metallic mixed Leonardo is awesome.

I think it was just under $40 and free express shipping if you are a B&N member, and saw it as low as $35 with a 10% discount on top of that. There is also a 20% deal going on with B&N I got an email about it so could be cheaper if still available. This Hikari is pretty cool and actually while taking some photos with a blacklight I noticed the colors popped even more.

Yeah I'm a member thats another reason I was thinking about it. So i have that 20% off coupon plus my 10% member discount and I wouldn't have to worry about the shipping. So it would be like.... $30 after tax all together prolly?

Something like that I think the 10% was already worked into the price so you should be able to apply the 20%, then as a member express shipping is free so ye whatever that comes out to after the discount is what you would pay so it will be cheaper than $35. IMHO it is a great piece to have if you are collecting Hikari.

How does one go about acquiring an artist proof of a Hikari? That would be soooo sweet!

Just got mine. He's so colorful! I was surprised at how light he is.
Plus, am I supposed to leave the tag on or untie it? It's my first Hikari.

I'm surprised that these are still available on the website at this point... It's been quite a while since they arrived on the scene...
