Premium Hikari?

Postby CanDMan47 » Thu Oct 30, 2014 7:40 pm

Looking at the pictures from Lists, Lists, Lists, some of the boxes have a tag that, at the bottom says "Funko Premium Quality". Do they all have this tag, and just not shown in the pics, or are the ones that have it a higher quality and considered a Premium piece?

Thanks
John

From what I've gathered (Not 100% sure), the Premium ones are larger than the regular ones.
Carol can probably show you a picture for size references.

I think they're referring to the size when they say "premium".

This is a write up regarding the Battle Ready Transformer pieces which were regular sized and an Entertainment Earth exclusive.

"Hikari Premium Sofubi Figures have a highly intensive paint application process.
Hikari Premium Sofubi Figures have over 75 paint applications to create an extremely detailed figure."

So, while the word "premium" can sometimes refer to the size it also refers to the paint and detail.

I think he's talking about the tag around all their wrists, and if memory serves me right it does say premium on it. Dont have one in front of me to double check though.

Yes, I was referring to the tag that's on their wrists.

But do all the figures have a tag? It sounds like they don't. But there may be confusion over which do get the "premium" label. If it is size, that's easy to figure out, but if the paint process, well, I guess that'd be easy to figure out, too, since those will have the wrist tags. lol

So, basically, my next question is, do they all have the tags or no?

The only one that does not have a "wrist" tag is the White Bone Demon because there is no way to get it around her wrist...it is tucked into the side of the coffin material.
