Astro Boy Hikari

Postby funkystark » Thu Nov 27, 2014 10:04 am

I don't know if anyone cares as much as I do, but as I sit here impatiently waiting for my November 2014 pre ordered Astro Boys from Entertainment Earth. I decided to take a gander at the EE page today to marvel at their beauty, only to see that the pre order date has been pushed to January 2015.... :( Oh how I hate preorders.

You seemed to have forgotten you ordered from EE, where preorder release dates are ballparked.

I never ever believe that anything Funko has planned for September - December will ever be here until after Chinese new Year is over. History has taught me to just push it off until February of the following year. I have a couple items on pre-order with Gemini and the dates have fluctuated for the past couple months. Pre-orders suck and are hard on collectors.

September - February is a very hard time for Funko collectors due to the above. Very little new stuff comes out and very little of the stuff shows up here in the US when it is "planned" to be released.

Patience can ne a very trying virtue ;-)

As much product that has been coming out it might be ok to have some items delayed so that we can call catch our breath

Good call Kev, didn't even take that into consideration. Although I'm sure I did last year at this time when you pointed it out to someone else :)

Now all the stuff slated for "November 2014" has to be changed to a new mystery date in the future. I doubt it will be here by Sunday ;-)
