Detached arms on Stitch Hikaris?

Postby blur_r » Wed Feb 10, 2016 9:25 pm

To those of you who've purchased any of the Stitch Hikaris, have they arrived with their arms detached?

The first Galaxy Stitch that I purchased from funko-shop.com arrived with his upper right arm detached. The replacement piece arrived today, this time with his lower right arm detached. I've emailed customer service to get a third Galaxy Stitch sent my way. Hopefully, third time is a charm. <crosses fingers>

Good luck. I've seen several posts on FB about the same issue.

Glad I haven't bought any Stitch's yet....I wouldn't know what to do with myself since all of mine are still in the box.

There doesn't appear to be any mechanism on the arm or its socket to allow for it to pop back into place.

As someone who also keeps all of their pieces imprisoned in packaging, it's certainly frustrating! The silver lining is that funko-shop.com's customer service has been stellar thus far.

At least you acknowledge the issue and that is the first step toward parole.

Wish I could say the same about MCC and SB subscription customer service.

They might quite possibly have the worst customer service around. It's bad enough that I have been hesitating joining the DC sub service.

The first galaxy stitch I bought from Funko-shop.com had one broken arm. I returned to exchange it for another. I received that one last week with a different broken arm. I contacted funko-shop support again. They do not have anymore to replace it with being they are sold out. My only option was to return it for a full refund or fix it myself. I chose to keep it and fix it. I feel I should have been offered some type of refund for another broken product that they could not replace. I bought 4 of the other available stitch hikari pieces from geminicollectibles.com and all came perfect.
