Yeah, that's kind of my thought too. I much prefer the vibrant color ways to these faux distressed ones. Interesting idea but only goes so far for me.

Sounds like the troopers are shipping next week, excited to see them in-hand.

We've been seeing some mind-blowing troopers lately and in my eyes this just doesn't compete.

I feel like the color of the "rust" is throwing it off visually.

I think he looks pretty neat - the details really stand out on this one because of the coloring.

I really want to like it but at least the one in the glam has a little too much of the rust color along the forehead/nose area and it doesn't look quite right
