I would say collect what you like. Do you have a favorite franchise?

Thats a good place to start then. Stranger things has several pops that are pretty common.
As for Marvel, I would say try to collect your favorite heroes or villains. The major ones usually have several variants including commons.

Re: Where to start?
I know you are probably asking characters you should start with, but my answer is still eBay. Just run a search for Funko Hikari and do some browsing. You'll find plenty of stuff and lots will be $20 or less too.

Re: Where to start?
I would collect Hikaris again if they ever came out with a horror series. Even a mini hikari horror series would be welcomed, like a Freddy vs Jason 2 pack, Chucky & TIff 2 pack, Psycho & Mother 2 pack, etc

The Spider-Man Hikari are some of my favorite, can’t go wrong there if you’re looking for Marvel. Brett is right too, check eBay, you’ll find some great deals on probably one of the most under appreciated lines in all of toys

Yes, definitely do a Hikari search on ebay or Amazon and see if anything catches your eye. Good luck!

They made some pretty good Iron Man Hikari's but just start with what you like. Personally, I'm into the Frankenberry Hikari's.

Re: Where to start?
I started with the Iron Man Hikaris, they are really cool, i also collect most of the freddy mini hikaris as well and dabble in the retro freddy hikari. I recommend starting with a regular sized hikari and not a mini hikari.

Start with one that catches your eye, one from the franchise you love the most. I only have Groot hikari, as I LOVE Groot.
They call me Kelly
OOB deals I love to find.
Disney is my first love whether it be pops, Dorbz , minis or dolls.
ISO~ Flocked Lotso. And a Bobs big boy pop.
Pops and Dorbz -1750~~~~ I have lost count actually
Minis-450+
Protos-2 Dug with cone from my first fundays
And
Baby Groot with bomb from this years fundays.

Once you figure out what you like there are some sites out there where you can get cheaper hikari. It all starts with what YOU want

Start with Batman and then try to go for the entire set.

I am not in danger, I am the danger! A guy opens his door and gets shot and you think that of me? No. I am the one who knocks!

Re: Where to start?
I’m looking to get into Hikaris as well. Gonna start with The Voltron line myself. After looking at these for a while now there actually nice looking pieces. Hopefully tracking them down won’t be too much of an issue. Happy Hunting.
Keep spreading that Funko Love...
