Star Wars Dorbz ??

Postby ocwankenobi » Mon Dec 03, 2018 1:32 pm

I can't even find the original post to ask this question.

Yes there is not a recent movie right now. But its not like that has stopped other lines from being created or continued. Are vinyls and minis and other lines diluting the interest ?

What do people think or know ?

Dorbz are particularly hard because of the fact that the head is not a bobblehead. Notice for every other line they are bobbleheads? That's because they are required to for licensing reasons. It appears they couldn't for Dorbz, and the workaround is to make every one Disney Shop exclusives (or the ones that were D23). So really if we get more is up to if Disney wants to make another wave for their stores
It doesn't matter the amount you have or length you collected, but that you're happy with what you own

Current Goal: Get The Three Caballeros created as Pops, Dorbz or Vynl (One year until the 75th anniversary!)

Agreed. I don’t think the dorbz are as popular as when they first launched. Many are ending up on clearance or at second hand retailers and thrift stores.

Oh the one hand its pretty sad they don't seem to be making any more.
On the other, a lot are going on clearance and I can afford to get a few of them.

It seems like for a while people were really into them but the hype train just slowed down over time. I don't own many but I like the ones I've got. Kinda unfortunate.

Considering Disney no longer has any Dorbz online or in store (except for Jolly Roger on clearance), I don't have my hopes high for more SW.

What's more popular... Dorbz or VYNL? I agree Dorbz are fading some.

Star Wars is awesome however!
