I don't have many of the earlier lines so I haven't seen it in Dorbz yet, but wobblers for sure. I'm in Florida so even with ac the inside humidity is high so I tend to clean and check my stuff annually just to keep it on the up and up. I agree that it's just a result of aging and probably something we will start to see in the early pops.

I have some sweaty/sticky Spastiks but not dorbz.....arguably, it adds to the charm

I've definitely noticed this happening with a lot of my older figures. Especially with the hikaris.

I have 3 mega Dorbz that don’t sweat, they just collect dust because I’m lazy to clean

It's not environment related. It's just vinyl getting older and becoming sticky like older toys.
Basement is fully finished and humidity levels always kept between 30-50%. It's also only on the older Dorbz which leads me to believe early on the vinyl they used is the problem.
