Dorbz Display

Postby clashcityrocker33 » Sat Dec 26, 2015 10:44 pm

I've been looking at different ways to display the Dorbz and finally found something that might work. I bought a couple baseball bat display cases from Container Store today. I brought along Ultron as my tester and so far I think all Dorbz (Loki may be cutting it close) will fit. I believe I can get about 15 figures in one case.

It has the option to screw into the wall but for now will probably set on a shelf. The only downside so far is keeping them in place when putting the case back together. I might have to get some of the museum putty to keep them in place. I know there is a thread for Display Your Way but I don't see many Dorbz displays there so I was hoping to see what others have done to display theirs, if they free them from the box.

Wow Beau, thanks for finding this! I may just have to pick one up for myself because right now I've got my Dorbz on top of the bat cases that hold my pop to the point that you can barely see them! I'll have to look into getting myself one of these!
Here's a link to buy them by the way:

Thanks for the link Sam...the Container Store tends to send out emails with coupons every now and then so if they do I will post them here or in the Eye on the Web section in case anyone is interested.

Great idea! Don't mean to hijack your thread but I'm wondering if these would work for Mystery Minis. I know they would fit but If they would look good in them. Also don't they sell these bat displays at Michael's as well?

If they do sell at Michaels it would definitely be cheaper, but between the horrid customer service and slow to non-moving checkout lines, it's not worth it to me. Of course, it could be just my Michales. I'm sure it would work for the MM, but not sure how much space would be left from top of MM to top of case, in that there might be too much empty space? If you would like I would be more than happy to place some MM in the display and post pics if you like to see how it looks.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to go b's to the walls on the Dorbz display just yet. Have to clean out some space (aka store some SW LEGO...and that's take time) before I get them settled.

However, I was able to take some pics of the bat display with Dorbz, Mystery Minis and (because I know some Funatics are falling prey, like my daughter) some Vinyl Tsum Tsums. They all fit well, including the stacked TTs.
