I had these pre-ordered on EE and they cancelled it a good while back?? Wonder if i was just too late and they were already sold out or they got pulled from EE being able to sell them??

I had a pre-order as well that was cancelled, I think they were told not to sell them yet.

Pre-orders for this item were taken down from Diamond as well. My LCS owner thinks they are reworking the way the item is being handled. They may run these similar to Marvel variant covers where retailers must also order a certain quantity of the FCBD Marvel book for each variant/dorbz they wish to get, but nothing confirmed yet...

I cut back my Civil War Pop preorder to be able to buy Civil War Dorbz. They did such a great job with these. I really want the unmasked Free Comic Book Day Cap.

These are releasing this Tuesday, BvS is supposed to release this Monday and fallout is supposed to release 2 weeks later. Time to find a bunch of stuff to trade in at GameStop this weekend or my wallet will be hurting a lot more than it already is.

I hope EE doesn't really take until April to ship mine :/ I preordered from them to get the unmasked Crossbones and avoid paying for shipping on just one item. Made sense to me at the time.

Rant Time:

I went to MovieStop a week or so ago and asked them about Free Comic Book Day (for the Rogers and Stark Dorbz). They are not participating this year. :evil:

So, I don't have the option to get them from there. Rats.

Went to a local CS today and was told they are participating in FCBD but would probably not do toys. According to the human working there, the comic books are not free for them, but are cheap enough to justify participation. She said the toys are meant to be free but the shop had to pay for them. How f***ed up is that? :evil:

How could those tiny little shops even afford that? Even if they only ordered one case, that's still a lot on top of the comics.

Two strikes so far. If they aren't available online, I really don't know what options there are. Funko, if you are here. Could you give us some advice? You have people in here who like Dorbz, could you tell us how to get them!?!?!

I am so hurt. I really want those Dorbz

Why exactly is that f*** up? Do you expect Funko to give the Dorbz away? Nothing the shops give out on FCBD is free (unless it's promotional stuff like bookmarks or stickers). They have to pay for all of it.

The upside is foot traffic into the store and potential future customers.

I never said they should give anything away. They could give the shops permission to sell them.

I was under the impression they were for sale... Now I'm confused I need to get Steven (Anthony too) hopefully they'll be online too because none of my shops seemed to jumped on the Free Dorbz day lol

actually they have no idea what they are... I hope Popcultcha has them.

Yeah my confusion has totally clouded my excitment at this point so alittle clarity would be appreciated lol

Though it's early still so hopefully Funko will work out all the miscommunication and mass confusion by May 7 teehee

I'm disappointed, funko said the unmasked cap and Tony are exclusive for fcbd and won't be available any other way. I can't find a cb store that is going to carry them. I really want them.

I asked at my local comic book shop and they said they tried to place an order for them, but they were told there is such a limited amount that they probably won't get them. My question is if local comic shops can't get something that's exclusive for free comic book day then who will be getting them?

Gamestop has Iron Man, Falcon, Vision, Winter Soldier and Black Widow in stock.... Still waiting on Cap, Black Panther and Crossbones. I wish I had thought to ask about pre-ordering Giant Man when I was in there yesterday!
