Nope. The regular, metallic, GID, flocked, and rides versions will all be exclusive to Toy Tokyo.

Sweet, congrats!! I have the Count on the way, woohoo! I'll be a Fright Night so hopefully I'll get the shared one there! Got the 2 pack (and it is awesome) but the 3 pack has eluded me. Maybe when TT goes live with their leftovers.
babasdada wrote:Why stop at the Count - let's admire all of the dorbz ridez from NYCC. Which Dorbz Ridez winz the race for you? That Penelope tho.....
RiaRoo wrote:I love the cereal monsters pops so much! I would love to see them bring them out of the vault!
Any idea of when TT will have their cereal monster dorbz on their site? Assuming they have any left to sell online..
CAHRULL wrote:Thanks for sharing these great pics Joe! I don't have my Chocula ride in-hand yet, so getting to see one out of box is exciting!

That would be terrible, there's plenty available on ebay for you to buy. If you don't want to pay more, unfortunately that means you don't get them. Unvaulting pops will sink the company.

Are you serious? You're aware that they've already unvaulted a bunch of Pops, right? It most definitely has not sunk the company and in fact hasn't really harmed the resale value of the originals much because they release the unvaulted versions in different colored boxes. High resale values of rare Pops on eBay doesn't help Funko any. Unvaulting Pops DOES help them, because it means new sales.

Hope not that would be awful. They are still available on ebay if you want them.

That was what I was thinking, Tres.

Sigh, ignorance is bliss. High resale drives demand, which in turn drives sales. Rereleasing collectibles will always drive away collectors. To exaggerate a bit all protos are rereleased at Walmart as commons for $9.95. All the people who paid $1000's for theirs can just buy more for cheap! Think that will.make everyone happy? I know i'd like some prototypes for cost.
Blind consumerism is a scary thing. Love funko but they need to keep the pops in the vault, or don't vault them at all. Unvaulting pops gives a few sales but drives demand down and supply up. Economics will handle the rest. I am aware they have unvaulted pops and I'm waiting for mass release freddy funko variants to drive the point home to fellow fanatics. Funko isn't growing because of hardcore collectors, they are growing due to appeal to the masses. If you take away the value, you lose the masses, and with the 77 new lines funko revealed this year they may need to keep growing revenue.
Not gonna argue with you Tres was stating an opinion, which is what the board is for.
