Postby naisatoh » Mon Apr 25, 2016 9:44 pm

I seem to have missed a number of announcements over the past few months. Have they announced Star Wars Dorbz yet?!?

It is assumed Funko cant get the license to do them, but I will still leave hope open.

I want some exclusive Star Wars Dorbz in my Smugglers box!

That's surprising since they seem to have all the other Disney-related lines to do everything else with, not to mention a Star Wars license for Hikari!

Hasbro is a crazy over-protective monster of their Star Wars figure license. Lego had to start gluing their figures to the magnets in the magnet packs and discontinue the figure box sets because of Hasbro.

I know the Star Wars & Marvel POPS are bobble heads because of the Hasbro licenses. Curios to the language loop hole that allows Marvel Dorbz but not Star Wars. Different contracts so there will be different wording.

I'd be fine if my Dorbz had a spring. I wonder if Funko is trying to do Star Wars Dorbz.....I'm sure they are right.?

Yeah it's definitely Hasbro that is stopping this from happening. They are crazy secure about the SW license.
If they just kept the Mighty Muggs going, we would at least have something close to tide us over

Star wars is the one thing I would absolutely want to see as a dorbz and mystery minis. I think they would transfer over great to those lines and hope we get to see them one day, Darth maul dorbz would be awesome
Do you guys believe Kylo Ren when he says he will finish what Darth Vader started?

I remember seeing Funko say in a Q&A a while ago that they can't get the license and don't feel that there'll ever be Star Wars Dorbz. Same goes for Mystery Mini's.

I think they would have if they could. But I seriously hope so! A Dorbz of Leia with her hair buns would be the cutest thing ever.
