I havent even see the warcraft set either, the movie isn't even out yet. But I guess with Funko doing a bunch of different lines and hundreds of figures its hard to do them all. Suprised the older marvel and GotG are not in the vault

maybe Warcraft because it's limited to just promoting this movie, same with civil war? but the guardians line is a standard line?

I see your point, and it does make sense for movie figures to have a limited life span, but like you said, that argument is negated a bit because they haven't vaulted the GOTG figures yet.

. i was thinking that they were treating guardians as their own line? sort of like batman is it's own line, and then they will probably make a separate DC line but keep adding batman stuff under the batman label?

But then again, it doesn't make sense to treat guardians like Batman. I doubt they have made any new GoTG stock, since it is all just sitting there on the shelves, maybe they just forgot to add it to the vault.

That GOTG isn't on that list is a big WTF...but GOTG is only a year away. Why not wait it out.

Black Panther is a surprise. Could be cheaper than making a chase, tho. Just say it's vaulted and watch the crowd go nuts.

You know, I honestly think a lot of it is just "let's just do this" when it comes to Funko. And I'm totally ok with that!

Why are the Pirate, Chef, and Cowboy Deadpool figures under their own logo when they could fall under Marvel? Why don't Shaun and Ed fall under the Horror movie line? Why do some variant figures get their own numbering (monster disguise Boo or blue dress Aurora for example), while others (inverse Deadpool or brown Oogie Boogie for example) don't.

I picked up a Wolverine Dorbz today and when I went to add it into my collection on PPG, it stated that it was vaulted. Is this true ?

According to the Funko vault page, no. The six I posted near the top of this thread are the ones officially vaulted on the site.

Well, I liked him as Aquaman and can't wait to see what they do with him from here. But, the character had a Pop, a Dorbz and a Mystery Mini with exclusive versions of each and only had a minute of screen time. Lex Luthor was the main antagonist and got nothing. That's my only complaint.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but again, Jason Momoa with his shirt off beats Jesse Eisenberg in a wig any day

I'm hoping the Dorbz line is successful for Funko, I really enjoy collecting them and it feels cool getting in on a brand new line at the ground level, I wish I would've got up on Pops a lot earlier in the game ! How do you think these will do once vaulted ?

Don't know if this an early sign of demise or what.

A few Civil War dorbz, one of the Warcraft ones just got vaulted.

It seems like since the first wave of Disney and marvel Dorbz, the newer runs tend to be much smaller. Like the HT malificent, EE batman, glow oogey, etc. my guess is that funko wants sellers to be able to turn them over faster, encouraging ordering and creating urgency for the buyer.

Completely guessing here but maybe it's a factory issue? Meaning considering it's a new line what if Funko only allocated like 1 factory to make Dorbz for the first year or so to eat the success rate? It hasn't been a year yet. It would make sense to randomly vault a bunch so the factory can focus on newer lines. It works out kind of awesome for us early adapters too, haha.

Civil War and Warcraft are limited runs. like the avengers or iron man 3 pops. only produced as cross promotion. while others are lines that will be around longer. so they are being vaulted now that the promotional tie in is done.

Definitely not a sign of demise. If anything, interest in Dorbz is just starting to ratchet up a few notches!
