So the deal regarding the date on these is that initially we werected all told these were available now and then I was told by Funko that info was incorrect and we're looking at a fall release. I did see an 8/31 date from a reliable source but you never know. This is a new thing for smaller retailers on and offline and thankfully I've been included but there are allocations so I'm not sure of the run size. After really mulling it over, it's a good deal on Funko's part. As has been mentioned small retailers like myself have a tough time keeping up and it's good to have a product we can have to help us get some exposure and most of the time the little guys definitely are better at catering to a serious collectors market on terms of quality control, shipping etc. On top of that they're two awesome pieces. Both of these are WAY better than scratch and sniff Swamp Thing lol

So any inside info on how characters will be selected for said smaller retailer exclusives...less widely popular characters I suppose based on the current two??

My GF is very excited about this Dorbz, Howard is one of her favorites. I think this might be the one to get her going down the Dorbz rabbit hole... lol

Nope, we're not privy to any of that kind of info generally, and for other reasons if we do hear anything like that we're encouraged to keep it to ourselves until Funko officially announces it.

Or just sit at home and pre order them on PC.
Not exactly looking out for the "little Guys" here....

So is this going to be like the FCBD dorbz? Like some smaller retailers can order, but most won't, and they will only get limited amounts, and it will be tricky to get these?

These will be more easily attainable for store than the FCBD Dorbz since the specialty series is ordered straight from Funko as the FCBD had to be ordered from diamond

Anyone familiar with this seller? The description says that Funko shipped these already, but some are saying that won't ship until the fall. What the heck is going on here? Did Funko offer an extension to some sellers or what?

I like this series, its like the px exclusives except Funko doesn't have to go through diamond and the comic shops or smaller retailers can order through them. Howard the Duck and cosmo are awesome and I cant wait to see what else they will do. Do you guys think they will do just comic book stuff?
Do you guys believe Kylo Ren when he says he will finish what Darth Vader started?

Nice. The only DC Dorbz I want are Superman and Flash, so the more the merrier. I'm just surprised there hasn't been a regular Flash Dorbz yet, but at the same time, I am ok if they take their time, haha.

Dorkside cancelled my Howard ducky, so I ordered from BBTS. Hopefully, I won't get another cancellation.

They could have just made EE the exclusive online retailer. :/

It is my understanding (and if I'm wrong please feel free to correct me) that part of the deal with the Specialty Series was that the company can't have had a Funko exclusive to receive these. For example, EE, TT and B&N all have had exclusive variants in one form or another so technically they shouldn't be carrying them. But, as with most things, they change.
