So, I went to GS to order the astral exclusive and...I can't. Dude said it wasn't giving him the option to preorder and they would be sold on a first come basis IF they get any.

DAFUG?!

How does it make sense to blindly send these to random stores without knowing the demand first? Allowing preorders means no store gets stuck with inventory. RATS!

Hopefully, they will put em online when they come into the warehouse. Due date is 10/1. We'll see how that holds.

In the meantime, this is me. Yet again >>>>

They will run the same as the GS exclusive Harley Dorbz. Hit the site a day or two before you can order it, go live, then hit stores about a week later. Should not be an issue getting one.

I tend to think it's a system error. Before Funko officially announced the line, GS had listing for Dr Strange Dorbz #1, #2 & #3. When it was officially announced, they attached names to those three and added the fourth figure and exclusive. Now the other three are still available for preorder but not the other two. I'm waiting for them to get changed, but not sure anyone knows why it's like that (I don't think it was intentional). Time will tell, but I doubt these won't make it into stores.

Just chiming in to say yes. I try to only stick with the comic versions of the dorbz. It can get hard when some of the movie sculpts are so great. But yes please comic dr strange!!

Just wanted to let people know: when I first saw the ads for this, it looked solid yellow with paint. It is not! It is translucent gold with sparkles just like the pop. And because of the front / back windows, when you hold him up to the light, you can see all the painted details. This is an absolutely amazing piece. Easily one of my favorites now.

My Strange came fresh out of the box with tape on the sticker. I think whoever placed it on, placed it too high and went to take it off which caused it to partially rip the box. Does that make it more rare? I'm not mad or upset, I actually like stuff like that. Adds a little story to the box in a way. It's gonna be in my Christmas stocking so I won't be seeing it again until then.

Glad you were able to reserve one. The store I reserved mine at only got in one of each dorbz for Black Friday but they still had a bunch of the Black Friday pops and mystery boxes.

I had one of those classic GS experiences looking for him a few days ago. I called my nearest GS and they said they never got any, but that there was 1 store in the whole valley that had one: 43rd and Bell. So, I looked it up. No such store. So I called the next closest GS. Same thing, except he correct the info and says, "7th st and Bell." So I call that guy and he says he's never seen it, never heard of it, and then looks in his computer and says there are none in the valley. Hmmmmmmm

One of the benefits of living in a small town next to an even smaller town both with GS stores I guess

I don't blame you, it's always a risk trying to reserve in store because you have to submit the request and then wait a few hours to see if it gets confirmed, and even then you can show up to the store to find it's been sold out from under you. And by then it may no longer be available online.
