NYCC 2016 Dorbz Discussion Thread

my girlfriend told me yesterday no more pops because we are expecting our first child soon and we seriously have no room for like half of the ones we own so i agreed. with that said she didnt say anything about no more dorbz! i think thats the argument i'm gonna use when these new x men ones show up in the mail. ;-)

Pitstops ride is my favorite dorbz ride. Hopefully we get more wacky racers. I love how Funko is sharing the wealth by mixing in new characters at various Cons. Patiently waiting on the Jetsons and the Snorks to emerge.

, I know what's probably coming but I'm in denial. I'm 2/3 complete with the pops right now and I feel once those get announced I'll be back to square one :-/

Penelope Pitstop and Yoki three pack is to die for and they are soooooo cute. I was excited before but now i'm figuring out how to pay for all of this. lol

I am beyond happy with this wave!! There wasn't much for me to get excited about in the first 3 waves, but this was the one for me :-)

I wasn't particularly surprised about the other two Banana Splits since Brian had dropped enough hints for us to put that together, but Penelope!!!!!! WOW that may be the best Dorbz Ridez yet, it looks fabulous!

Yes. Toy Tokyo will be doing their announcements at some point as well, so we still have those to look forward to (or dread, depending on your take on TT lol

That Penelope Pitstop Ridez is super adorable. LE 2000 isn't too bad, but I also don't understand the low LE number for Yogi. He's an animation icon. There's a huge Yogi fanbase. I bet there will be Funko Hunger Games over that 3 pack.

Such a low number on Yogi makes as much sense as having a low number on Huck. Or as much sense as 2000 Penelopes. Just very confusing and disappointing.

So I guess we are only missing one dorbz ride announcement..wonder if it too will land at TT. Surprised we haven't seen any GITD exclusives in pop or dorbz form.

I can't take 100% credit for it. I'm pretty sure I heard someone use the phrase in the last week. I just can't remember who.

So I'm starting to think the rumors about the cereal monster dorbz and ride being TT exclusives is starting to look more real. Especially since tomorrow is the last wave and it is most likely just Disney/Star Wars and I don't see them including the cereal monsters with that stuff.

Yeah they are really pushing dorbz at Nycc out of the 30 exclusive revealed so far 10 of them are dorbz which is quite a bit and we know there's still a few more coming.

Harley Quinn remains the only Dorb I want from NYCC. I like the Yogi Bear 3-pack, but not enough to buy it. The Dorbz for NYCC overall are ok, but much less interesting than those that were at SDCC.

Hmmmm, well so much for that TT reveal last weekend! I've checked their FB and IG pages now and then over the last few days and so far they haven't revealed anything (other than the metallic green Power Ranger, which they have been blasting all over the place because of the signing) nor said anything about when that reveal will happen.

Yeah I've been checking the PopBoom YouTube page every couple of hours (that's where they had their SDCC reveal) and nothing

I'm really curious to see how this "stuff" turned out!
