Fright Night Dorbz exclusives

Fright Night was AMAZING!! A lot of us were posting pics live from the event on IG, but for those that missed it we all got a cool Batman Dorbz in Halloween colors (LE1500) as well as my personal favorite item of the night- a Fruit Brute Dorbz Ridez (LE 1500) complete with a GITD Fruit Brute driver I can't transfer the pics to my web site until I get home but I will post some soon. The Batman box has a picture of Zebra Batman on the side panel so looks like that one is in our future too!!

I think you probably read it in the other thread but I did get one and I was ecstatic Sorry you didn't get one, your costume was certainly worthy But Brian said before the event that it would be a shared exclusive with the Funko Shop so those that didn't get one will still get a shot hopefully.

The announcement that had been promised was a reveal that a big new Funko shop is being opened in Washington, so you never know!

Same here! Though I have to wonder... If they made Chocula Metallic, and Fruit Brute GITD, I wonder if they will just follow suit with the rest like they did with the originals, OR if they are planning to do more different treatments for each?

I could see them Making Frank Metallic and Boo Berry GITD. But honestly Maybe the originals will all be Metallic and the Newer two will be GITD.

I was thinking maybe they would do a flocked version for one, but it would have made the most sense to do that for Fruit Brute seeing as he is the werewolf, but looks like that's a no go. So now not only am I excited to see the rest, but I'm wondering how they will treat the rest of them as far as paint / materials as well.

I hope they do the rest. I was worried they would have done the frankenberry ride at fright night. We got the elvira pop instead of the ride.

OK I finally got around to taking some pics of Fruit Brute! I really love this Ridez. The milk can on the back and the spoon mounted to the side are cute touches!





So I was surprised when I stuck him under the black light, I knew the figure glowed and not the car, but strangely enough the glow vinyl of the figure doesn't "activate" under a fluorescent black light at all, but the car and the figure's clothing do:



So the paint must be fluorescent. I really like the pawprints on the wheels and how they jump out under black light Out of curiosity I stuck the figure in my bat case with the LED black lights and he does activate with that one, just not with the fluorescent one, strange. Here he is with lights on and off:

Before Fruit Brute and Count Chocula were released, Brian had promised that all 5 Monster Cereal characters would be getting Dorbz Rides. We now have two of them and I have no doubt the other 3 will happen as Brian has always proven to be good to his word!

Wow that Fruit Brute looks amazing. So glad you got one. Must keep that collection complete! I will be honest and say that, although I love them, I sometimes I think a glow figure can be an easy variant, but the care and detail put into that ridez is amazing. that is super impressive. Thanks for the extra pics of it.
