Re: Dr. Seuss
I'm so glad that I started with dorbz in my collection. At one time when some big box stores were clearing out their stock I thought I made a bad decision. But man have the dorbz love and following come a long way. Now I just look for good deals to fill my holes in my batman dorbz collection and buy as much of the new stuff as I can get my hands on.

Those look amazing - they translated really well into Dorbz. I do prefer these to the Pop versions as well. Love the cake and cup on top of the Cat in the Hat's hat

Definitely agree. This is one series where the dorbz far out shine the pop versions. The flocked Cat in the Hat and flocked Things are must buys. And the Sam I Am dorbz will blow my daughter away. We read Green Eggs and Ham every night before bedtime.

Do I need a 2-pack of Thing 1 & Thing 2 and another 2-pack of Thing 1 & Thing 2 simply because they're flocked? Of course I do.

I see what you did there. Very cool. Made me giggle ty. .
I love the look of these. To be honest, I was disappointed when the pops came out as they just didn't quite look right, but I love how they look in Dorbz form. I love the Horton. When I wonder about other lines that could be made into Dorbz (like how to train your dragon) I always thought some couldn't happen as some of the characters (a dragon for instance), wouldn't fit the uniform Dorbz look, but now I know they will go outside that....the possibilities are limitless.
Need all of this series. That Horton....toooooo cute! That's simply amazing
Thank goodness for no Walmart exclusives!

I had thought the same thing, at first it seemed like Dorbz had kind of a universal "bubble-head with a face painted on it" theme going and that it wouldn't lend itself to a lot of subjects. But Funko continues to surprise me in the way they can make something look Dorbzy while still using some tricks to make it look like the subject as well! It would be really cool to see what they could do with HTTYD!
Also I've got to say that the flocked Things may be the best use of flocking yet. I like the flocked Sesame Street Pops, but using 3 flocking colors on the Things is really going to set them off.

I'm actually excited by the possibilities now. This won't help my Dorbz obsession at all, but not sure I want to be helped .

Agreed! I can't wait too see these in person. They have the potential to be amazing.
I only just noticed that the flocked version of Dr Seuss is the same mood as the chase dr Seuss. I think this is awesome, as those who can't get the chase, still have him with the umbrella.

Interesting that the chase was chosen to be the flocked variant. Perhaps the common and chase were switched later in production.

The Pops look good but these Dorbz are so much cuter I may have to get at least one of the Cat in the Hats.

Re: Dr. Seuss
I just wasn't feeling the Pops so I'll pass, but I'll definitely get these. I'm glad the exclusives are flocked so I can skip them, just hope I can find a decent price for the Chase now that they're getting more expensive.
I'm perfectly fine with Horton being a Dorbz XL, but I think 6 inches is a weird size difference compared to standard Dorbz. 4 and 6 is an understandable difference between normal Pops and the larger ones, but I feel like Dorbz XL should be like 4.5 - 5.5 inches so it doesn't seem like such a huge difference or have a sliding scale like how Horton should be bigger than the others, but shouldn't be as big as Giant Man or Thanos
