Toy Fair 2017: Dorbz Edition

What are you hoping to see?

Since Thor 3 is my second most anticipated movie this year, that is what I want to see the most. Hoping for MCU Thor, Loki and Hulk.

I will lose it if they have Star Wars but I'm not getting my hopes THAT high.

I want to say I recall there being mention of Star Wars Dorbz in the past. Whatever is announced I'm sure it will be awesome!

During the 12 days of Christmas, it was never mentioned that there would be Star Wars Dorbz. If Star Wars Dorbz were hinted at anywhere else (Twitter, Instagram, Funko Blog, Funkast, etc.), this place would have exploded. That said, I wouldn't expect a Star Wars Dorbz announcement.

I think this is what Steven was referring to. It's been a debate in another thread about which license it will be.

Personally I'm gonna be happy for any and all Dorbz shown at Toy Fair!

Star Wars would be so amazing.....I'm just picturing little flocked Chewy and Wampa Dorbz. Also agree on the MCU Thor being needed badly! I wonder if we'll see anything about that or not cuz it's so much later in the year, but Marvel is my jam so any Marvel is good for me

Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Pirates of the Caribbean and...Justice League. Other "big" movies coming out this year. If they made an XL Dorbz of King Kong I would buy it. O:)

I would die if they did a flocked wampa dorbz, maybe 6in with a bloody chase

a lil set of ewock dorbz would be cute.

Think they could find away to make a tauntaun dorbz?? there is no amount I wouldn't pay

I'm hoping we get to see the hopefully extensive set of justice league dorbz, I need cyborg and every Ezra miller Flash they make.

More Disney. Inside Out was kind of a tease. MOAR! Since they did Mowgli and Baloo as PSH, I'd love to see them as Dorbz too.

And, how about more Marvel? Coulson? Yes.

That is the one thing that I feel quite strongly WILL be revealed tomorrow. We know it's coming and we know it's not an exclusive, so it's got a 99.9% chance of being in the '17 catalog. I would love to see other Ridez too, but of the 26 Ridez we've seen up until now only 7 were regular releases. 19 were exclusives. So if that trend continues then most new Ridez this year will be exclusives, which means they will NOT be in the catalog. The catalog only shows commons because it is used by vendors to place their retail orders for the year. That said, there are bound to be at least a few non-exclusive Ridez and they should show up in the catalog :-)

I would think the super secret "most requested" new Dorbz license would be in the catalog too, because surely Funko wants retailers ordering whatever new products they are offering, and the best way to make that happen is to get it into the catalog. Star Wars is definitely the Dorbz license that I have heard requested the most so I tend to think that's what it is, although it could be HP or something else because we don't really know if what we hear around here is the same thing that people are telling Funko.

Regardless, I'm sure it'll be a fun day filled with almost no work by any of us lol

Me too, I loved the show and movie and just love the look of the ship! I've written it off though, if it hasn't happened by now then I assume there was some kind of licensing or sales issue. They haven't made any Serenity/ Firefly figures in quite a while so I'm thinking that's run it's course. We can hope though!

Star Wars Dorbz would be nice, but I think there's next to no chance of that happening this year. I doubt it will ever happen, due to licensing issues.

The Ghost Rider Dorbz Ride is a near lock to be revealed tomorrow. I'm looking forward to seeing how that turned out. I'm not sure what else I'd like to see, maybe PotC:DMTNT and Spider-Man: Homecoming. I struggle to get super excited about Dorb reveals, due to the fact stores in my area don't order them for the most part. Civil War and GoT are the two lines I was most interested in, and no store in my area got a single one from either line. I don't want to order any online, due to shipping concerns (especially with a Ride), but may have no choice.

I'm also hoping to see the next Walking Dead wave and some Marvel. We didn't see too many Dorbz at the London fair so I'm expecting a lot of cool stuff tomorrow!
