Just my interpretation, but he never said there will be d23 exclusives. Just said that they will debut at d23. Also he goes on to say that "we" will start seeing them in the fall as Disney Store exclusives.

Dorbz and Mystery Minis are great, but I'm waiting for the inevitable Pint Size Heroes announcement.

Exactly what I predicted to my buddy, I think the chances of this are good because they did X-Wing and TIE Fighter Wobblers so it's time for an update!

Yeah I said much the same to my buddy, told him there was a "scale issue" with the Falcon. It would have to be huge for one or two figures to fit in it right due to the c*** being an extension off the ship (IE, you can't stick a large figure in a small ship because the figure would be in the wrong place). I've seen people do customs with a Pop in one of those "Playskool Heroes" Falcons and it just looks way too big. Dorbz Ridez are small and cute so I just don't see that happening. However, if anyone could make it work I'm sure Funko could!

Maybe if Funko used a Mini Dorbz like the HeiHei in the Moana Ride, we could get a Falcon that isn't too large, and still looks good!

I honestly don't think there is a scale issue with a Falcon Ridez being in a sub box.

We've all seen "cute stylized" versions of the falcon before, such as PlaySkool's Heroes set.
If a base-holder for a dorbz is only 1.75" wide, you can scale this design to a 6" wide by 9" long Falcon.
That would easily fit inside a sub box.

Not sure if they'll expand to Rebels early but a Hera Dorbz w/ the Ghost would be amazing! I think the Rebels cast would translate great into Dorbz format.
I'm very interested to see how they handle the Astro Mechs, the designers at Funko are the best so I know they will make it work but right now I can't quite picture it!
So excited, my favorite fandom coming together with my favorite Funko line.....dreams do come true :SW3:

I always assumed the Star Wars figures were on stands as a licensing issue, but never thought about how they help balance the bobble heads. I suppose it doesn't matter too much because I'm a sucker for pretty much anything Star Wars related.

DORBZ!!!!!

STAR WARS!!!!

STAR WARS DORBZ!!!!

Holy cow, I'm in heaven and truly excited....but my wallet isn't.

I don't care what they are, if they bobble or even if I have to put them together myself...this announcement (which I think was teased around Christmas), is awesome news.

Please excuse my happy dance :)

Thanks! Been a long day haha. That makes me wonder if they were able to classify them as non-action figures (similar to marvel dorbz) or if they are based on Disney rides or something and have different licensing (like Indiana Jones) which might mean their availability might be more limited.

I'm very surprised Funko was able to pull this off, but I'm very happy. My wallet, not so much. lol My Dorbz collection is very small atm, but I knew if they started making SW Dorbz, my collection would explode. So far all I have are Gamora, the MCC exclusive Iron Man, NYCC exclusive Harley Quinn, and the Vanellope Dorbz Ride. A Rey on speeder Dorbz Ride could potentially be the greatest product Funko ever makes. I would treasure such an item the rest of my life.
