What Would Freddy Dorbz XL Do?

Funny thing, I ask myself this question way too often!

So last Fundays Freddy Dorbz XL was introduced and I immediately fell in love. Since I wasn't at Fundays, getting one was not going to be an easy task, but I remained optimistic.

Some time passed.

Other things came that I stalked and acquired, all while keeping hope that FDXL would find his way into my collection. I asked a friend to let me play with his. But every encounter with said friend left me broken hearted because there was NEVER a FDXL to play with. UGH!!!

Then Freddys Birthday was announced on the FUNKO Shop. I start doing my happy dance because BOOM! My FDXL DREAMS are about to come true.

Everyday I waited.

Everyday I hoped.

Even when he didn't "pop" up, I simply thought, tomorrow.... I was devastated when the last Birthday Freddy wasn't Freddy Dorbz XL.

At that point, I said I would never talk. Hope. Pray. Wish. Or Dream of him...  I sulked. (Yes… I am a grown woman that gets caught in her feelings. It's RARE, but it happens.)

Some time passed and I think it was here that I mentioned FDXL Mayor… And then the flame reignited... but I took it slow. And then my imagination was like OMG what FDXL will be at Fundays 2017? Imagine my shock when NOT A ONE made an appearance! (Not to take away from how AMAZING the other Freddys were!) I was like WAIT!!! Has FUNKO fallen out of LOVE with him? Where did he go? I was shocked they didn't have one... which brings me here. Instead of bringing every topic full circle to the possibility of FDXL, I'm just going to start a Topic!

What Would Freddy Dorbz XL Do?

So I have homework to do because I need to figure out how to post pictures here and I have to figure out the size run… I get busy and totally consumed by instagram BUT I promise to do the research.

While I investigate... do we think FUNKO is over FDXL? I can't imagine that to be the case!!! ONLY 3 versions were EVER made!!! Plus he is ADORABLE!!! and Brian LOVES Dorbz... soooooooo???  Whats the deal with Freddy DORBZ XL???

And since I clearly am over sulking, here are some Freddy Dorbz XL ideas I would LOVE to see.

I LOVE regular Freddy Dorbz, BUT something about them in Dorbz XL form seems more fitting for special events.

Freddy XL were given out last year by the spin of the wheel at Fundays. Last year there was a list of names read off of attendees who would get to spin the wheel. The wheel had options to eat corn, prize up your table, protos and something else I can't remember. I'm sure some were given out randomly but that is how the majority were given out.

Casey posted somewhere that not all HQ grand opening exclusives will not be online according to Funko. Hopefully something from the festivities make it online.

Oh I imagine they'll happen again, but if and when they do it'll no doubt be for a special occasion and very limited again. This year I think the black light retro Freddys were the substitute for the Dorbz XL's at Fundays.

I was surprised/relieved when there weren't XL Dorbz at Fundays because I'm still trying to get the ones from 2016

You'd hope we would get new ones at some point, but when that time is who knows. HQ would be a perfect time or XL Statue of Liberty Freddy for NYCC would be amazing as well. How about Trick or Treat Freddy for Halloween or even a Santa Freddy for Christmas?

Aw! You really do!!! I remember waiting so patiently and being so optimistic that Freddy DORBZ XL was coming to the Funko Shop. We got so many GREAT things, I didn't have time to complain. Plus thats not really my style, so I waited.

I remember being SO EXCITED for Freddys Birthday!!! I was like its been 11 months… this is about to be CROWN Heaven… and then… well you saw my gram post! Felt like I was kicked in the heart… I legit had to erase it from my mind… but the funny thing about HOPE and believing, you cant erase it. Took a month off and then this started swirling around in my heart and figured the Forum was the perfect place to share… I just needed a Forum to express myself. Great seeing I am not alone.
