I've been into TRU recently and see the 5,000 piece Dorbz. I have heard people on youtube call them chases and other don't so I'm a little confused. Do you guys consider them chases.

I agree with this too. Especially since some of the Hot Topic exclusive limited edition dorbz do specifically have separate chases.

I don't consider them chases because they're easy to find, and having a limited amount of them isn't the same as having a 1:6 chance of finding/getting one.

Honestly, I'm just waiting for the day when Limited Editions have chases though.

I do not consider them chases. I guess in the end they are similar, but it’s different. I was going to say they are not a immoderate variant of the common with a shared number, but that’s not always true. A chase is a randomly available item within the same case when purchased. I guess.

Yeah I was gonna say something about that. Dorbz just aren’t as sought after as the Pops. I’ve seen LE3000-5000 just chilling in stores for a while.

I agree, limited editions usually have a set number produced, while chases continue to be made until they get vaulted so don’t really know how many are made...

Not a chase. If count run made it a chase all the old sdcc stuff would be considered chases.

I am gonna have to agree with the majority and not consider it a chase. Just a limited item that may be more difficult to find.
