Very excited for this guy! He looks so shiny and pretty! I'll definitely be picking him up at Wondercon

Thats cute, sounds like there will be opportunity to pick it up out side the con, just with out the sticker which is nice I have a feeling a lot of people will want to pick him up.

I don't think this is technically an exclusive unless you count the special sticker on the box.

I'm guessing he'll probably be easy-ish to get. It was super easy to get that bloody Jason Dorbz at ECCC so I'm hoping it'll be the same for Genie.

I have never heard of them either. I'm not going Wonder con, so I will wait for it to to be available after,since I don't care about the sticker as these all come right out of,box. $\:D/$

I know its on the wondercon website... but is this a real wondercon exclusive? or just like the 2015 D23 "Exclusive" custom like Bing Bong was at their own booth. Chalice Collectibles IG doesnt seem that big

I will have to grab one as well. Seems like the Jason Dorbz for Wildcard, they are showing some love to some smaller retailers with Dorbz exclusives. Sort of like the metallic Ghost Rider for Animetasia last year.

It's technically a Chalice exclusive. Not a Wondercon specific exclusive. The first release of the Chalice exclusive will be at Wondercon though and it will have a special sticker. The rest will probably be sold online.

I guess if its official Funko Dorbz then. I was more wondering if it was a dorbz that was a custom, made by a booth, that was being sold. IE like Bing Bong was at D23 back then.

At D23 2015. Evilos booth sold a Bing Bong Funko Pop with an Evilos Sticker. But it was a custom.
At Wondercon 2018 Chalice booth selling a Genie Dorbz with a Chalice Sticker. Just wondering if its a custom.

OR

is it like Animestasia. a permanent Frank and Sons booth who got that Funko contract or whatever to have an exclusive vegeta and sold online and in booths at conventions

It's not a custom. It's an official Funko Dorbz. It's just like how Wildcard sold exclusive Jason Dorbz at ECCC. Same concept as Target or Walmart get exclusives that are only sold at their store, but on a smaller scale.

It's Disney and it's in Anaheim. So who knows. But hope you are able to get one. That being said I don't think the secondary market will be too bad.

I did see on instagram some one had chatted with the store that selling it and asked if it would be online and they did say yes! So long as you dont care about the lil sticker it looks like this one will be available. Cant wait to see pic of it with the metallic genie pop

Yeah, this is more of the launch of their exclusive. Fugitive does this all the time.

I would think all of these will have the Chalice sticker, whether bought at wondercon or online.
