Best way to repair a Dorbz XL?

So I recently took my Groot dorbz xl out of the box, and I noticed it would wobble when it stands. Then I saw that the bottom of it is protruding out so that it can't stand flat. I guess the previous owner had left it in the heat or something....anyways, does anyone have any ideas as to fix it? I've tried just pushing on it for a long time hoping it will stay, but it doesn't. Kinda thinking about just cutting out the bottom. Or maybe anyone have any DIY for a stand or base for it to stand on?
