Gamestop still get dorbz in stock, I don't think HT stores get them anymore... at least not in NJ. I love certain dorbz, so I'll buy them online if I can't find in store.

Re: Are Dorbz falling off the Funko Train?
I have a handful of Dorbz - I just get the ones from the lines that I love ... Pops are my jam though. Seems like Dorbz get a lot of hate and are just generally not as in demand - which Is good for those who collect them. Not as much competition from other collectors!! I wonder if Funko will ever phase the line out...

Been seeing a decline in dorbz for a while which is a shame. I think dorbz are very underrated and look great displayed with eachother. I just got some new shelves for all my dorbz and have been buying more to fill out the shelf. Luckily they are cheap so I can buy a lot!!

I agree with you on this. There have been a lot more Vnyls produced this year than Dorbz. I think we could still see Dorbz show up in mystery boxes, but probably not a lot of new ones directly to shelves. It will be interesting to see how the 5 star line does. I think that will factor into the future of Dorbz.

nah, things roller coaster all the time. Dorbz are awesome. They aren't going anywhere.
But now that you mention a Dorbz Funko Train... how about a Dorbz Mickey on a Disneyland Train would be a dream come true for me.

I think dorbz is starting to release a limited number of pieces like the pennywise dorbz instead of mass release. I love the dorbz rides though. For me personally I love dorbz

Re: Are Dorbz falling off the Funko Train?
I collected dorbz from day 1. I loved the cute aspect of them and I love how small they were and the box was more sturdy. But it's so hard collecting so much these days that the price point between the two are pretty close. I think a lot of folks prefer more detail so they want the pop vs the dorbz imo

The early Dorbz didn't seem as great quality (painting mismatches, not as much detail, etc), but now they are getting better at making and painting them while still maintaining their style.

My Hong Kong Phooey has a different shade of orange on his arms and my flocked Eeyore has a giant hole in the flock on his head

I do agree the detail and overall quality has improved, but since they are put together individually you are going to see lots of problems. I wish the arms were part of the molds because it always seems like you can see tons of glue where they were put on.

I think it's our Drax that has mismatched ears, and his face details were a little off from the eyes. But the set they did with him and Gamora with the yellow pants showed improvements.

Good ol' first wave of Guardians of the Galaxy!
It is fun having old sit next to new and seeing the changes. The old school Marvel with Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor definitely made a huge improvement as well. Now I'm getting sad thinking Dorbz may be no more

I have a few, but I try to just stick to pops. They just appeal in their own way, I don’t think they are super hated on.

Re: Are Dorbz falling off the Funko Train?
I haven't ordered Dorbz for my online shop in a LONG time. I would order a case or for friends & regular customers to order and then the rest of the case would take forever to sell...I still have 2016 dorbz I can't sell so imagine the big box stores pulling back from them. If the line isn't profitable it doesn't make sense for anyone...

I have loved the Dorbz ever since release but I was too invested in the Pop line to start collecting another line. So I got some Dorbz here and there but never collected a lot.

I only collect the Disney ones. In a way I'm glad it's slowed down because I need to save money anyways
Winnie the Pooh and Tigger were the last ones I bought. Bring on some Toy Story please!

I personally don’t like dorbz. Not much anatomy and detail imo.
The only dorbz I own are ones given to me on the subscription boxes.

By any chance you know where you heard this from? It's obvious that the retail common waves are all but done besides maybe a few here and there but that contradicts what's been told to us in terms of the line overall. We just got a new Flocked Eeyore last week so I'm doubting it
Which again, if that's the direction they have to go I understand but I would want them to just tell us if it's true
It doesn't matter the amount you have or length you collected, but that you're happy with what you own
