Do they still make Dorbz?

They should make one for the Vicar of Dibley.

I’m not a hardcore collector but I hope they remain a sporadic release. They still have a pretty dedicated fanbase.

I could be wrong but the Toy Story Dorbz were released last June on the shop. They did a couple GoT wolves and Batman movie related ones around that time frame. I don’t remember any releases past September but someone else could prove me wrong.

I’m not sure if Funko announces the end of a particular line, but if I still collected dorbz I would wait for that to happen! An official announcement. lol

I'm not a fan of Dorbz, but I like them slightly more than 10" Pop!s, mainly because they take up so much less space and are 20% the cost.

I do believe you are correct, the toy story ones were the last to be released in June. GoT and batman were a month or two prior.

It's sad really because the market is flooded with over-produced or unpopular Pops. The resources that Funko devoted to Pops that weren't going to sell well could've been devoted to their other lines.

I'm afraid that Soda are the new Dorbz...not that I don't like Soda, but I think there is room for both.

When Dorbz were first launched, Funko went BIG on it. Hundreds were announced and released in their first year. SDCC was loaded that year. Dorbz has had the most releases by far vs any other line outside of pops, Wacky Wobblers and mystery minis which all had/have a longer lifespan. The thing is, pops have been the most popular item for awhile and continue to be. I love pops but I also collect many of the other lines and I know I’m not the only one but as a whole, pops outsell Vynl, Rock Candy, all plush and dozens of other lines that have had a year lifespan. Buy what you like and if enough people collect it, they’ll continue to make it. People on here showed off and discussed Spastik and Funko has revived the characters in pop and as dorbz.

I feel like if dorbz where priced around 4.99 to 5.99 they would have lasted a lot longer. When I walked into a place and seen dorbz for just $2 less than pops I felt like it was better to just spend the few extra bucks for a bigger figure. That being said I still have my fair share of dorbz.

The one thing I'll say is they could make any extra figures they want for cons, give it a 2000/3000 limited edition piece, then sell it all on the shop. Look how quick every single thing went on the shop for SDCC, that would happen with any Dorbz they make.

I know there's figures Brian wants to make but hasn't, I know he likes the line, and he knows there's some obvious missing characters that would complete collections. Why he doesn't is beyond me

Maybe the shareholders aren't please with the number Dorbz are making, so they were the ones to ask pull the plug on them

I'm aware, but I believe they have a deal with Funko where they get their stock before it even goes on sale

Today's Funko Halloween event is more proof they could just put it up with a limited number alongside some Pops and they'd sell

Which still means that limited editions don't actually sell out that quickly. After all, somebody still has them in stock.
