Horror Mini Assortments

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

Horror Mini Assortments

Postby JuicemanRJ » Tue Dec 03, 2013 12:44 pm

I was just wondering if anyone was able to list their assortment on here like what was done for the other minis. I tried searching, but couldn't find anything. If it's already up, sorry for the post and point me in the right direction please.

They have different ones like assortment A, B, C , etc. Each assortment has the same figure placement for that set. For example, assortment A might have a 1/144 piece on the bottom right hand corner on the second layer. So all assortment A's will have that 1/144 in that exact spot if I am not mistaken. Thanks for trying to help though, I guess this topic is a bust.

Oh nice! Thank you for the reply. Maybe we should give it time for more people to get these for other replies. Thank you Mickey!

I don't know the box assortments etc but by simple calculations it appears that in each box you will get:

2x Jason, Freddy, Michael, Capt Spaulding, Sam, Pennywise, Chucky, Ghostface, Leatherface, Ash and Hannibal
1x Billy as minimum.

The other figure (to complete the 24) would be along the lines of:

Box1: GITD Pennywise
Box2: NES Jason
Box3: Bloody Leatherface
Box4: Scar Chucky
Box5: NES Jason
Box6: Bloody Leatherface

This makes all regulars a 2/24
Billy a 1/24
NES Jason a 1/72
Bloody Leatherface a 1/72
GITD Pennywise a 1/144
Scarred Chucky a 1/144

So (I am completely assuming here) but I would guess that each assortment would have either the 1/72 or 1/144 plus 1x Billy put in first (this explains why most chases are on the bottom. AND THEN are filled with the remaining doubles of the regular 11

My suggestion would be to try the Bottom front left for the chases (unless the shop has mixed them up.
I have the whole set but curiosity for my means when they come out in shops here in Australia, I may buy a few to see if my theory works :)

For the HT mini ponies, all the show accurate ones were on the bottom layer, if they didn't get shuffled. There was only the bottom layer left when I bought mine plus two on top. So it's possible they got shuffled down.

Hi fellow horror junkies! I opened my case of Mystery minis yesterday and as promised, I documented the layout as I opened them to share with all of you. I was so happy that the one HTF chase piece I received was the 1/144 Chucky! He was the one I wanted the most! I have a fairly good size collection of Chucky figures & collectibles so I was more than thrilled when I opened the box and he was inside. Finally got lucky for a change with these blind boxes! Now I just need to hunt down the other three rares.

Ok here was my case layout.... My packing box was labeled "assortment A" :

7894
7895

Hope this helps! Good luck guys!

Good stuff always get packed in one of the four corners. Would be extra hard to know which corner if the case is double layered. DANG!

I think that's how they allocate them to each case now. That's just like the NBC case layouts. All doubles, then the bottom layer, right front have the semi-rare and rare piece.

This is the reason i shuffle the contents of all blind box cases where i work or some one with this knowledge could just come in and buy the rare ones and then put them on ebay. Then the poor collector who comes in looking to start collecting has no chance of getting a chase figure at retail.

You are also inadvertently alerting the not so honest retailers to remove all the hot pieces and sell them on at a premium. I only sell chase figures at a premium if i have opened an entire case.

I am hooked on collecting the Horror minis easily my favourite release from Funko i love the designs the only design i don't dig is Hannibal too much hair.

Yep, mine was the same assortment and layout.

My local comics and collectibles store had a case and Billy and the chase (NES Jason) were in the same spot also.

I bought the bottom left corner one today (looking for an Ash) but picked up a regular Chucky instead.
Looking for Mal & Rocketeer (and a few random others). The gf wants to trade Ponies.

Man, what a great layout. I'm just starting on my horror collection for these guys, but getting the scarred Chucky and Billy seems like a great pull. Certainly more exciting than GitD Pennywise.
Wanted Minis: Stone Zuul/Terror Dog, Grady Twins, Scarred Chucky, GITD Pennywise, Zombie Ed, Guitar Crow, B&W Alfred Hitchcock, Spider Leg Pennywise, Henry Bowers, FYE Eddie, FYE Beverly, HT Bill, HT Ben
