Arkham Asylum Mystery Minis Announced!!

These were the first Mystery Minis I've ever purchased (always had an interest in them, just starting late lol

). Got Ivy and Robin. No luck with Freeze yet.

What's the deal with Scarecrow, Red Hood, and Harley? Exclusive to other stores

Scarecrow, harley and red hood are in the regular case sold at most stores. Those 3 were replaced at Gamestop and walgreens in place of their respective exclusives.

Hit 4 Gamestops Friday - every one of them was already sold out. Boooooooo.
Wife found one store that had a partial case and was able to snag Mr Freeze so it wasn't a total bust.

Hopefully I'll have better luck/timing when they get their next shipments and can snag the rest of the villains.

Got over to my local Gamestop today and the Arkham's were finally there. Top level was mixed and 2 missing, bottom level seemed intact. I grabbed the heaviest and then middle bottom left side and got Mr. Freeze and Detective Batman. Yeah! Now I have the gnawing feeling there is a chance I may have left behind Carded Joker since Mr. Freeze remained. Worth it to go back and buy the 3 top level boxes remaining and take a chance on that. (I think I just talked myself into doing so).

Oh wow, he looks like Killer Croc in Big Head Mode! I was hoping he'd have a big body and smaller head..
I may still hunt him down.

I found them again at another Walgreens, three more of them, but no Croc. I went to another Walgreens (there are a ton around me) and they didn't have them, but again had a lot of WWE minis. I have a feeling that unless the Walgreens gets rid of the WWE minis then these guys won't be popping up anytime soon. I also find it strange that there were only three. The other one I went to only had two. Are they purposefully only sending three to a store?

Yes, a Walgreens insider said that stores get shipped loose boxes, not sealed cases, and typically three at a time.

Wow, what a nightmare! Walgreens exclusives typically aren't this bad, at least for Marvel Legends. They get shipped like 8 of them to a store, even if it's only a select amount of stores. This is silly though! Thanks for the info. though. I guess that means more hunting!

The thing about the loose cases for WG is so weird, saw this on FB the other day so who knows. My gut tells me he works for Walgreens and scooped this all up or literally had the best hunting day ever. And I think he did say he bought a full case so who knows lol

Finally found a Walgreens that had one this morning (and only one.) Turned out to be a Knight but I sent the UPC to jambes. Came up in the boys mystery minis at this particular Walgreens

I just used the 'cheatsheet' RogueSolo posted a page or two back on a fresh case at Gamestop, and I was able to pull both Jokers. Very jazzed about that, thanks for posting that.

So with the UPC he gave me, they are under the 'boys' assortment (WIC 901611)

My store has 0 on order, but then again I have like 20 wrestling ones that nobody will buy. So if you get someone to order for you, make sure you go for that WIC number! No guarantee which ones come in though, unfortunately.

Haven't had any luck finding the regular set. Tried Hot Topic, FYE, and Barnes & Noble. No luck finding them at Walgreens either.

A couple weeks ago I saw 6 boxes of them at a Walgreens in Vegas, I didn't realize that WG had exclusives so I passed on them (kicking myself now for it). None of the WG's I have been to in Salt Lake have had them yet and I noticed that the WG website either has been changed to prevent seeing store inventory of Marvel Pops: http://www.walgreens.com/store/c/pop-ma ... 86-product now brings up a "This Product is no longer available on our site" message. So that will make hunting even harder.

So, has anyone checked to see if the Walgreens Easter Display is set up yet? It was rumored that the MM boxes were supposed to be part of that as basket stuffers.

I checked 3 today and it looked like they were just in the process of starting the Easter section. Shelves were cleared off and some candy was starting to be put out.

Has anyone on the east coast seen the MMs pop up in Walgreens yet? None of the Walgreens in my area are in places I usually go, so it would have to be a special trip to go hunting for them. Just want to make sure they are out this way before I go hunting.

Was just in there yesterday and they only had GPK minis on the shelf, all three rows (boys/girls/adult) were empty otherwise.

That's probably a good sign then; they're either going to restock or setting up the new section. My stores are overflowing with the same MM that no seems to be buying.

If people are still looking for regular sets, my local toys r us had an almost pristine case yesterday. Only one missing (think it was Harley Quinn). Tempted to buy red hood but then stopped myself. So if anyone's still lookin for non GS sets then I think it's worth checking your TRU. My local comic store said they were getting a case soon also.

Does BN stock MM all year? Was sort of worried they had all those in stock for the Christmas shopping season only.

I managed to snag a case at my GameStop today and the guys there were so sweet. They had two partial cases and one that I got appeared untouched, but they said just to make sure after I bought them to open all of them in front of them and if there were dupes they would weigh the boxes from the others to find the ones I was missing. Luckily they didn't need to do that, but it was the sweetest thing I have ever experienced.

Anyway, I'm now missing Red Hood Scarecrow and Harley Quinn, so if someone could find those three for me or is selling them I would greatly appreciate it.

Stopped at another walgreens on the way home. Their Easter section was almost 100% complete. The only section left unfinished was the collectible section.
I saw the plan-o-gram and it seems as though there will be 3 rows of minis and a row of pops. Also there will be an entire row of BvS merchandise. The plan-o-gram did not show a case but individual rows of minis.
It may not be any easier getting these once they fully release after all.

I've been aggressively checking about 6 Walgreens for the past two weeks and nothing to report yet. Like others have said the stores are still stocked with older mystery minis and the Easter holiday aisles aren't completed yet. Here's to hoping that some of us start seeing them soon. Thank you to everyone that is reporting in, sharing info and keeping all of us updated. If I happen to find any soon and can share any helpful tips I'll definitely post here ASAP.
