Ghostbusters Mystery Minis Series 1

Great things come in mysterious miniature or pint sized packages, but which great thing will it be? It's all a mystery until you open one. Then the fun begins.

I hadn't seen them at any Target yet, wish they'd show up somewhere near me!

I feel you, I've only found them at Barnes and Noble and they're always picked through.

Got lucky with one B&N, but that's it so far. Heck, I wish GS would restock with common cases if that'd get us to where we need to be!

That is if you can even find a GS nowadays. I've had two close near me in the last few months.

My area is decently populated with GS locations, which is nice. And generally the employees are super helpful about pointing me in the direction of the next store that has stock. I'll go out 'questing' some days when I just go from store to store to see if I get lucky in what I'm looking for! Didn't do that with that set...probably should have!

Maybe we'll get lucky and we'll get either stock or a restock closer to Halloween? Then we can cruise from store to store listening to the Ghostbusters song on repeat!

Hopefully, my B&N got like 3 toy story cases so 1 ghostbuster seems low to me.

Mine did this with the last HP set - months with nothing, and then suddenly there's like 5 new cases. So I won't stop checking!

Went to a GS by my work for lunch looking for ad icons and found a fresh case of GB. Managed to find one of the last 3 I needed at least! Just down to SS Marshmallow and common 1/72 library ghost.

It seems the ratios are off for the specialty series.

Here is the back of the box:

Image

Here are the exclusives:

Image

Case A contains Dana and and Gozer.
Case B contains Slimer and Terror Dog
Case C contains Dane and Slimer
Case D contains Slimer and Louis
Case E contains Marshmallow Man and Louis
Case F contains Louis and Marshmallow Man

This makes the Marshmallow Man 1/36 and Louis Tully 1/24. They are listed on the box the other way around.

I randomly found 7 boxes unopened of the original series this past weekend. Pulled 2 commons, Winston and Ray.

I'm still on the search for the terror dogs but recently found some on ebay.
