Deadpool mystery minis!

Bought 2 and got 2 bellhop Deadpools. 1/6 rarity for him. I like the fact that they are bobble head versions.

Which store did you get them?

I picked up 3 at my local comic shop this morning. Pulled 1 from the top and 2 from the bottom right. Got 1/72 mermaid, 1/36 panda and 1/12 waitress. The black bags inside are also a different plastic I noticed. Really good set though. Love them all.

So 2 people so far have gotten the 1/36 Panda and the 1/72 Mermaid in the same case. I wonder if the 1/36 has a switched ratio with another mini, then? It's probably too much to hope that the mermaid is a 1/24.

Me too! Hopefully, if he is 1/72, he will at least NOT be the common case exclusive and that'll knock down the price.

Once the exclusives release, we will know if mermaid is 1/72. Also, studying a Master Case (six configurations) will let us know as well. There will only be one mermaid in the 72 boxes. As mentioned, the same happened for WB and Infinity War. For Deadpool, I’m willing to bet that Case F will have two 1/24s.

I was really looking forward to this set, but I'm way less in to these with all the 1:6s. I don't think Funko realizes that most people that buy their minis are actual hardcore collectors not casual fans. 1:6s are hurting mini collecting for multiple reasons. 1. A collector that may have bought a case in the past will only try for a few at a time now. It's very disappointing using $7-10 on doubles. Less mom and pop type stores will be able to sell cases for the same reason. Why buy a full case if you're guaranteed 4 doubles right off the bat and only 2 rotating spots? 2. It's driving the "perceived" value of the rarer minis through the roof due to the fact that their are so many doubles. For people who actually want to complete sets, it's getting harder and harder. People are now asking $100+ for a brand new 1:72 minis (and unfortunately, people are paying...). I enjoy a good pop and mini hunt as much as the next person, but the stakes seem so much higher than they used to be

Agreed! 1/72 is hard enough but store exclusive ones? When you have to rely on secondary markets...it gets pricey!

Then you've got Dorbz that are slightly more expensive than minis and PSH are slightly cheaper than minis. They aren't just going to give them away Also most stores will have deals where you can get them for quite a bit cheaper. During Hot Cash they had buy 2 get 1 free so I got an entire case of Nickelodeon minis for really cheap. Also the mystery mini secondary market is fantastic for making trades/buying minis you are missing for cheap. Of course the rare 1/36 and 1/72 can be a pain so I can see that as a deterrent.

LOL the breakdown is brutal for HT, but like you said, they have a lot of deals going on, so that's the ideal time to pick up a whole case.

So the Gamestop case nets you zero doubles? Or do all the stores net a zero doubles just b/c they're so many store exclusives?

Funko has been weird lately with their ratios. Some of the lines don't match up to the ratios that are on the back of the box. Unfortunately for the Deadpool line there are quite a few 1/6 minis so you'll have lots of duplicates if you end up buying a case

Someone posted a picture of their common case they bought from a comic book store and they got 2 Chicken Suits, 2 Doctors, 2 Bellhops, 2 Punk Rockers, and then 1 Panda, 1 Mermaid, 1 Disco, and 1 Diner Girl (or whatever you want to call it ). With the exclusive cases like at GameStop you might get 1-2 exclusives in a case, but there is still a chance you won't get any of the exclusives.

Mystery minis can really be a pain in the you know what, but I enjoy gambling so the hunt for them is a lot of fun.
