MLP Mystery Mini - Series 2

Yeah, the Series 1 Hot Topic case I bought last time had every exclusive in it. Don't know if it was dumb luck or not, but I was hoping that would happen again. Bummer.

It's because exclusives are 1/72, which means every Hot Topic set has one of the exclusives.

Hot Topic case would be especially epic, but I'd settle for a non-exclusive case.

Non-exclusive sets/cases can be bought from various online retailers like Entertainment Earth and Toywiz (there are others too).

I just tried and it was trimming part of the photos so I'll have them up as soon as I can figure this out.

Be prepared to want them however!

So here's Trixie and Crystal Discord...I'm not sure what to do about the portion of the photo where Discord is getting cut off.

In these type of situations, Funko minis should always win out.

Love them. <3 Set complete! Few extras of course (not pictured), but not too bad, plus buy on get one! Discord is a bit small for the minis, but I don't mind because the standard size is much bigger and a different pose.

You were able to order on line or in sotre? Im down to needing just the 4 Chase pieces and color Discord! I jumped on this set early. Just hate I never could find them on HT website ](*,)

No I bought one full case and a few extras from other boxes. They had four full boxes! In store btw Arloe.

I went ahead and bought the two GITDs--Pinkie and RD.

Any word yet on what they're from?

I'm still thinking we'll get a third case that has the next-in-line ponies in it, and it'll include them as exclusives. Maybe some more villains? o:

I would LOVE to see some villains get made by Funko. I can just imagine how amazing Chrysalis would look!

But yeah, where the heck did they come from? They're not this wave obviously, but I feel like quite a few of them exist for them to be a scrapped project.

I mean, I'm finding them all over the place online. :/

My local Hot Topic got in series 2 today. I got show accurate Lyra from it!

My HT got in 1 cast of MM series 2. Luckily we were able to have them hold it for my wife and I. We bought the whole case of 18. Went through them systematically and instead of opening all 7 duplicates we were able to figure out most of how the box is laid out, so we only opened 2 duplicates and were able to return the other 5 ponies that are 2/18. The exclusive we got is the crystal Discord! He is probably my favorite MLP character so that's the one we really wanted.

The HT exclusive in our case was top row, front right. So we will be back when they get more cases and hopefully we can get the other 3 HT exclusives and complete series 2. (weren't able to complete series 1, only got 2 of 5)

okay so if I'm looking down at the case, it'll be the top row furthest right box on the top layer? schweet. Gonna swing by this weekend, will definitely keep that in mind! <3 oh man I want Fluttershy so bad.

I can say that the Hot Topic at the Natick Collection in Massachusetts had them today. I bought them all tho. They said they just got them in. So, I guess they've made their way to Massachusetts.

Also, is there a good forum/facebook group for trading the blind box ponies? I've got some extras that I'd like to trade to finish my series 1. I am also looking to trade my clear Discord for the HT Spitfire.

I got my Olaf from EE the other day so my ponies should be here soon... Can anyone let me know if you see someone with the HT exclusive ponies though. I can't hunt them myself as we have no Hot Topic here and when we looked for them on Hot Topic.com there were none.

They haven't come up on Hottopic.com yet, they put it up once as out of stock and then took it away. I have it bookmarked though, so I'll let you know as soon as it comes up, sometimes things don't show up through search.
