Horror minis series 2.

While waiting for ee to start shipping cases and hoping ht starts getting them in (and that there's exclusives) I picked up 2 from GameStop. Got a werewolf with missing ear and a b&w Hitchcock.

Congrats on the B&W Hitchcock! Seems like some people are having decent luck finding the rare figures!

I went and checked my werewolf and mine has 2 ears. Are you saying yours is broke off or that there are 2 versions of werewolf?

So we're about a week in and no one has yet seen Hot Topic stocking anything, right? Let's hope the exclusives aren't too high in rarity...

I know this isn't in the right forum, but does anyone have a sense of when the Sci-Fi series 2 might drop? I jumped on the collecting ship late into the run of the first series of both respectively, so I'm wondering if there's any kind of pattern between releases. Obviously the horror ones aren't shipping in November like EntEarth claimed.

So my daughter and I decided to go hunting for minis and pops today. First up was Gamestop, they had a full case so I bought the top six. Got Shaun, Ed, David, regular Hitchcock (all dupes) and these two which I needed

On to the second Gamestop, another full case! I thought about SilverMonkey's post (bought the first two boxes on the top row and scored Pinhead and the Fly) so i bought the same two and low and behold look who I got!

Ah man this makes me happy to see people getting the ones they want! Especially happy to see people getting the 1/72's! $\:D/$ I am hoping for Pinhead in my next case, but won't be upset either way. Still wanting that Werewolf, regular Cthulhu, and Crow though.

I finally got around to getting Series 1 Jason. For some reason he was always listed as the most expensive of the commons in that series, but I bought him a reasonable price.

Do you all think that there will be a Series 3 at this rate? I know that it will probably be another two years, but I could keep buying these horror characters if they keep making them.

I wish I had more options locally than one GS and one HT; I'm jealous of people who can stop at multiple stores looking for them.

That's even worse than my area. At least there's a mall in town that has both GS and HT.

I went to eight GameStops and never drove further than 20 min to any of them, and I usually hit a couple each time I was out.

What was that layout? I've got a couple more rares I still need to grab to complete the set, including both 1/72s.

Stopped by my local, non-mall Game Stop and found a fresh case and treated myself to the top 6! No 1/72 or anything but I love the glow Cthulhu. Also glad to get the Alfred. He's one that I wanted the most. Now if I can only find the B&W!

Had a good day opening a few blind boxes. I am now just lacking gitd Cthulhu, Nosferatu, and whatever comes into Hot Topic. I've managed doubles of regular Cthulhu, Crow, and The Fly.

To the people who have purchased whole display boxes, do you know which assortment you opened?

My girlfriend and I plan to buy a box from HT when they become available. I'll try to get the assortment letter if possible and share the layout with everyone as well.

His ear just wasn't there, not in the bag or anything. Someone got a glow Cthulhu without his tentacles. So quality control is definitely lacking.

Just a quick repost for those who requested it

I've found a pattern with the uncommon & rare figures. Out of the three cases that I've picked from, I've found that the hard to find figures have always been on the top layer, and they've been in 1 of the following three patterns:

Daemon, based on your chart, I'd have to add a modify based on the setup I had (page 6 in this thread). This was my top layer:

Found a case at gamestop. Manager lady was cool and let me feel the bags before I bought any. My for sure buys was both Cthulhu minis. I guessed wrong on the other one. Ended up being guy from Lost Boys.

I may go back later and get a few more. One for sure felt like pinhead. But I couldn't feel the lament configuration in his hand. But his head felt really bumpy

So on the other, you mistook the chinese food box for the Lemarchand's box? I don't think anyone has reported a Pinhead being in the same case as two Cthulhu figures (GITD and regular). Typically, Funko doesn't stack a case with a 1/36 and a 1/72, usually two 1/24 and 1/36 or 1/72.

No I mistook the food box for the raven from Hitchcock. I went to the car and brought her the two fallout minis I had. Told her to sell them to someone. Since I got them on a whim from HT and had no plan to collect the entire line

I hadn't seen Shaun of the Dead before, but it looks pretty funny. I rented The Fly to rewatch it since I hadn't seen it in 10 years.
