Re: Harry Potter Series 2 (Mystery Minis)
They are all so cute, I love the new characters and I like how they did Ron, hermione, and harry on the chair with the sorting hat, there are still some new characters we could of seen but it wouldn't be harry potter with the golden trio.
I wonder how hard its going to be to get our hands on the Funko exclusives? I recall Funko saying there would be a Harry Potter section in the new store, I'm guessing we all need to get a Washington contact
My favorites are Ron with Pig and sirius with my man buckbeak. I also really like how Fred and George have each other.

The hardest part will be deciding between barns and hot topic where I want to buy a case from and where I want to try my luck with box shaking and hand weighing.
Quite a few of the creatures are going to be pretty light, I think with Arnold it'll feel like an empty box

From what I can tell, the Funko "exclusives" are in the common case...?
I'm already asking for help with the B&N exclusives, I don't have one in town.

Although I did guess quite a few of these characters, and they've included some of my favourites, being that I'm not in the US means I'm going to miss out on so many that I would want that I'm not even going to start collecting the second series. They look so cute but I don't want character repeats and almost half the series seems to be US store or online exclusives

That would be a relief, tho I'm still down to make friends in Washington
I have quite a few barns around me, and I plan to buy entirely too many of these just like I did with wave one, ill be more then happy to share what ever wealth I may come across when the time comes. Last time I broke the rules and posted in the wave 1 forum this time ill behave and put my sale/trade post in the right area

They did a FANTASTIC job on this series! I love the Sorting Hat versions, and the Snape, Lupin and Bellatrix are must haves. I like that the twins are coming too, and Ginny and Luna. The Azkahban Sirius is great! I do like the magical creatures they choose, especially the Hungarian Horntail and the Pygmy Puff! The little Pigwigeon is adorable as well. I am definitely going to be broke trying to complete this series.

Oh my god... This set looks so amazing! (Although I'm now kinda panicking about not even having series 1 complete yet!)
The thestral is my absolute favorite - probably because I have a thestral tattoo and relatively no thestral themed HP merch.

So I've been out of the Mini game for a while. I hadn't bought any in about a year, then bought all the HP ones and that's it. Rumor is they don't do layouts anymore? It's all by weight? Is that true?

YAY! I'm so happy to see Sirius, Luna, and Ginny. And finally a Lupin! The sorting hat Harry, Hermione, and Ron are so cute with their big eyes looking up at the sorting hat with great expectations. I'm dying over the Pygmy Puff, too. Also, it's hilarious that Fred and George are each other's companions.
These are so wonderful. Now the challenge is to find a B&N with an untouched case...

Recent ones have had mixed up layouts, so I would assume that will be the case with this as well. The Spiderman minis have had varying weights so that's getting difficult too, but so far with these style of minis it's been consistent (as much as it can be given the people characters are all a similar weight).
I'm really hoping we don't get 1/6 Hermiones again! And no 1/72 exclusives!

I think my favorite part with the twins is that they DIDN'T go out of their way to make them different. If they were facing each other, they'd be mirror images! Love it!!
