I like that Hulk one.But I also have to say that as much as I want these, they look awful as bobbleheads. That grey Deadpool just looks hideous with all of that gap in between his head & shoulders.I really wish that Funko could have renegotiated the license on Marvel products, because I still hate that the Pops are bobbleheads.Only Wobblers should bobble.

How do the Hot atopic Exclusives work? Do their stores carry a different set of blind boxes that might carry those chases?

Yes. Hot Topic has different case mixes than everywhere else. Usually, the Hot Topic exclusives have been substituted in as 2/24 pieces for other 2/24 pieces, but they've started switching up the 1/144 pieces. So, with the Marvel cases, there's a 1/144 Deadpool only in the non-HT cases, and a 1/144 Phoenix only in the HT cases.
Basically, if you want every piece, you have to buy cases/boxes from both Hot Topic and another store. (Or Ebay)

I was expecting the same it took me awhile to realize she was the 1/144 until I looked her up.
Thanks again Mike!

Not entirely but here is what I know the 1/24 is going to be on the top layer front left and the chase also on the top layer front right. The 2/24 exclusives for HT are on the bottom layer (I've bought all of the top layer for different boxes haha) they should be located in back row the 2 left ones but not 100% sure on that. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Are the backs of the boxes different between the case versions everyone has ordered through retailers, compared to the backs of the boxes on the ones at Hot Topic, just like the Walking Dead ones?

Re: Marvel Mystery Minis
bought one today on a whim for my son. it ended up being thanos. it was the bottom layer, very lefthand side, second from the front. but several were missing from the top (it wasn't a fresh case) so no telling if things got moved around at all.

I don't mind the springs that much, most can be tweaked into right position but man my surfers had some giraffe necks going on! Other than that, awesome paint and detail. Bring on the guardians!

I opened one Marvel blind bag and the mini was in two pieces: its head and the body. It was a nice surprise for sure!

Re: Marvel Mystery Minis
Is the HT exclusive a true 1/144? The boxes seem deceiving because it's showing the regular 1/44 Deadpool. So does that mean the 1/44 HT exclusive is also 144? It sounds super dumb when I type that out, but I haven't seen it confirmed.

I like the diversity on the series, the sure bet would have been to go avengers heavy, but they didn't, nice solid mix of marvel goodness!

Re: Marvel Mystery Minis
Ive bought 3 cases so far at hot topic
the layout has varied somewhat between cases on the 2/24 stuff.
There is no Phoenix 2/24 in ht cases, instead its the goblin
I have a few to return to ht opened as there are pieces missing and broken.
I do have extras on some of the pieces.

Oof. "A few" is definitely worrisome.

I can't answer for Mike, but I prolly bought close to a case and a half, no brokens, no bad paints, just a few long springs.

Good to hear.
Sometimes we have such high expectations, we forget this is supposed to be fun.

The only expectation I have is for the product to not be broken. I've never been a person who is too worried about bad paint apps, but if a figure is broken, I will pass on it in a heartbeat. That goes for any line from any company. It's just a bigger pain in the butt in this instance, because you can't actually see the product when you buy it.
I understand there are licensing issues that force Funko to make all their Marvel product into bobbleheads, but they should have passed on doing Mystery Minis then. When figures are this scale, adding cuts like that is just asking for trouble.
I have a lot of fun buying and opening these. If I didn't, I would have the amount of figures that I have and I wouldn't have the spent as much money on them as I have. When your hobby becomes a chore, it's time to find a new hobby.
That being said...not liking the fact that these are more susceptible to breakage and also would just plain look better if the head didn't sway back and forth goes beyond fun.

WAIT...
So HT has different boxes for this? WOW, now it all makes sense. The exclusive ratios aren't even that bad. I thought the X-Force one was a 1/144.
EDIT: Oh crap, nevermind. I see the Jean one is a 1/144. That's just beyond bonkers for a store exclusive. That one is going to be a nightmare.

That's correct John I've pulled 2 out of the 3 chase pieces I own from there. The third time the top layer was all mixed up but it was still a fresh case found the chase in middle top layer then so the chase is definitely in the top layer.
