I am hoping that Funko will make another wave of the dragons, perhaps with open wings.

Funko should do so, to make up for the impossibility of getting the Hot Topic exclusive Drogon from wave 1 (impossible due to Hot Topic employees tampering with the blind boxes).

That way people will still be able to end up with all three dragons, even if they aren't all in the same pose.

I'm thinking headless Ned and Robb, maybe a poisoned Joffrey, Khal Drogo, Lady Stark...I have not read the books so not sure how many other main characters die this season...can not wait to see these!

I'm hoping not, but seeing that the memorial GoT minis are mostly black and white repaints from series 1, does anyone else think that the ones that are new in the memorial set will actually be part of Series 2 but in color? I just doubt they would make sculpts exclusively for the memorial set.

I definitely think that Series 2 will have color versions of Renly & Tywin for the reasons you said. They spent the money on the sculpt, so they're going to use it again, if possible.
